Breve vacanza in Umbria!
Abbiamo fatto una bella vacanzina. L'albergo è comodissimo per visitare Spello e i bellissimi paesi vicini. È confortevole ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Good location for avoiding the major hills of the town and a 10 minute walk from train station. Good Wi-Fi, average breakfast. Owners and staff are nice --unserstand that they speak no English (most people in Spello don't know any either) -- so if you need travel advice etc it could be tough

Ottimo hotel a poche centinaia si metri dal casello di Spello. Molto pulito,buona colazione,proprietari molto cortesi , simpatici e disponibili . Una sera arrivati in ritardo, non avendo preso le chiavi, ci hanno gentilmente attesi . Oltre orario.

Optimal für die Besichtigung von Spello
Älteres Hotel, sehr sauber in unmittelbarer Nähe eines der historischen Stadttore von Spello. Personal spricht nur italienisch, ist aber sehr freundlich. Immer wieder gerne.

Soggiorno fantastico, la posizione dell'hotel è ottima, a pochissimi passi dal centro di Spello e comodissima anche per visitare gli altri paesi limitrofi. Inoltre grande accoglienza, gentilezza, simpatia e disponibilità dei titolari. Colazione abbondantissima, per tutti i gusti! Ci ritorneremo presto!

Ottimo compromesso....
Ottimo soggiorno nonostante le due stelle. L'hotel è raggiungibile in dieci minuti a piedi dalla stazione e vicino al centro storico di Spello. Buona la pulizia,ampia la camera, ottimo il set di cortesia (prodotti oro di spello). Colazione con poca scelta ma tenete presente che è pur sempre due stelle

nice clean hotel
This was a nice little hotel wonderfully located just outside the gates of the city. The restaurant next door was excellent. Breakfast was typical of an Italian breakfast. The lobby closes at 11 pm. If you plan on staying out later, they will give you a key for the side door. If you plan on going to Santa Maria Maggiore, be prepared for an uphill walk. The restaurant has award-winning olive oil. Great pizza! The restaurant' s name is Il Vecchio Opificio.

Quel plaisir de séjourner à Albergo Portonaccio. C'est un hôtel accueillant propre tranquille qui est idéal pour visiter la Ombrie. A quelques minutes d'Assise. On est accueilli par une famille qui prend soin de sa clientèle et les petits déjeuners sont servis avec beaucoup de gentillesse.

Camere non tanto grandi ma confortevoli. Bagno molto grande. Colazione adeguata al prezzo. Personale accogliente, cordiale e preparato.

il personale è molto cordiale, la stanza carina e spaziosa, il bagno molto ampio, in particolare la doccia molto grande e comoda, parcheggio gratuito di fronte all'hotel, ben posizionato perchè situato alle porte del centro storico comodo per visitare il centro a piedi.

Hotellet som saedan er ok. Desvaerre er vaerelserne udstyret med faste lameller som skodder. Disse kan vippes fra vandret til skraet ned. Da de er ret store, bevirker det, at vaerelset henligger i tusmoerke. Da vi tillige havde vaerelse mod en naertliggende nabobygning, kaldte vi det for vores faengsel. Selv om vi dog ikke har erfaringer med saedanne. Det er ikke nogen klage, blot en oplysning og vi forsoegte heller ikke at blive flyttet

Hotel Il Portonaccio di Spello
Ottima posizione a 30 secondi dal borgo storico. Facilità di parcheggio anche gratuito entro circa 200 metri. Esteticamente all'esterno non è molto piacevole e la stanza doppia un po' piccola, il bagno necessiterebbe di un rinnovamento, ma nel complesso il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono, anche la colazione classica italiana è piacevole.

Nuovo Albergo Il Portonaccio--Spello, Italy
Initial room smelled of cigarettes--requested that our room be changed--which they did for us without question. Don't remember whether I could have requested a non-smoking when I made the reservation--but this might have saved us the inconvenience of moving to another room. The first receptionist we asked about Internet service--couldn't assist us--we had to wait until the next morning for a specific person to give us the code for the complimentary 1 hour of internet access. We found the location to be fantastic---within one block to the main gateway (Porta Consolare), free parking within one block. Complimentary "la colazione" was typical for an italian breakfast--with brioche, cereal, jiuces and cafe. Walking distance to many restaurants, enotecas, shopping, museums, churches, etc. Spello is a beautiful medieval hill town in Umbria--which could serve a a home base for visiting many other little towns (Bevagna, Montefalco, Foligno, etc.).
