Posizione ottima a Spello, parcheggio pubblico comodo a pochi passi dalla struttura (appena fuori le mura). Stanza ampia e pulita. Piscina molto bella (da curare però la manutenzione giornaliera). Ottimo il ristorante.

The hotel and the restaurant were both top notch. We loved staying there. The only caveat was that there were 52 steps to our room, so we got lots of excise while we were there. If you have mobility issues, be sure to tell the hotel n advance. Otherwise we were delighted and would stay there again, even with all the steps.

Spectacular Views, but a Deeply Disappointing Hotel Experience The view from La Bastiglia is absolutely spectacular. Unfortunately, that is where my praise ends. I stayed for five nights and paid to upgrade to the Daniela suite, expecting a comfortable, luxurious experience. Instead, I encountered one disappointment after another. The air conditioning did not work, forcing me to leave the windows open and put up with considerable noise. The television didn’t work properly, the private patio was covered in leaves and dirt, and the swimming pool was filthy. The bathroom was another disaster. The moment I turned on the shower, the handle fell off. Rather than treating this as a maintenance problem, the staff made me feel as though I had caused the damage. Despite reporting it, nobody ever returned to repair it, and I had to make do with the handheld shower for the remainder of my stay. Breakfast, which is included in the room rate, was dreadful. The buffet consisted overwhelmingly of sweets, with very little appealing variety. The cereal was stale, and some of the fruit was rotten. Even getting a simple cup of coffee became a daily exercise in patience. There was no self-service coffee, and I waited an unreasonable amount of time every morning just to get a cup. I also ate dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening. I ordered a simple pasta with truffles, a regional specialty I had been looking forward to. It was thoroughly disappointing, with an unpleasant, earthy taste

Ho passato due stupende giornate con mia moglie dove la location ha amplificato lo spirito romantico del fine settimana. Excellent hotel with great location.

We had a suite which was HUGE with a spa and fantastic valley views. Parking on the premises if you got there first. Ample buffet breakfast. For such an expensive room there was no ironing board or kettle. Amazing.

The hotel was absolutely wonderful. If you’re reading this, chances are you’re an American who, like me, knew little about Spello, Italy before booking. Trust me—you won’t regret staying here. While we didn’t dine at the on-site restaurant, it offers incredible views. The location is also very convenient—perched at the top of the hill, it rewards you with stunning scenery (and a bit of a workout getting there). My only small disappointment was that we requested a check-out just one hour later, since our train wasn’t leaving until later in the day, but the staff wasn’t able to accommodate—even when I offered to pay for the extra time. Still, overall, it was a truly lovely stay.

It was too hot - they had some issues with the heater. The spa is 30 euros per person for 90 min usage and is not included in the cost of the hotel. Parking is 5 euros per day. Breakfast is good - the room and the location is quite good. Overall a good value for the cost but please note the spa is additional

Reported room darkening shades wouldn’t close & toilet running. Wasn’t repaired. Dinner soup was only warm, small portions for costs. Eggs cold every day at breakfast & they aren’t good at replenishing at 9 even tho more guests arriving. On checking out waited 10 min while reception on phone. Finally got off & paid bill. Didn’t have change wanted me to forget the difference. It’s a cute hotel & nice location. They need to fix things.
