“From beginning to finish, we enjoyed our stay at the Wharf Stables so very much. In fact, so much that I cried when it was time to leave. “Lou’s view was a very comfortable cottage which suited our needs whilst we were there for a couple of days. The only thing that I feel that needs to be considered to be updated is the shower in the grey bathroom as the hot/cold water knob didn’t turn so we felt the water was tepid. The hot water boost wasn’t that effective either even when we turned it in early so 2 out of the 4 of us had cold showers. The view at the back of the building was beautiful especially when you have walked to the top……

“Was informed 3 days before stay that we would be staying in a different house to listing, which for us was ok. Clean bedding, comfortable beds. However the house although wasn't filthy it wasn't clean. The whole place looked like a family had just "popped out". Clothes hanging on doors, shoes left where they had just taken them off, generally a untidy house.”

“We have just returned from the most lovely long weekend in Broadway. Russell Court is comfortable and cosy and feels more like a friend’s house than a holiday rental. The House it is attached to is steeped in interesting history (which we learnt more about at the Broadway museum) and the garden is exceptionally exquisite. Andrew the host is welcoming and extremely helpful. Broadway is a gem of a village with restaurants and shops in a traditional Cotswolds setting. We had a truly wonderful trip!”

“I was not sure about this hotel given the reviews but I was very happy with my stay. Maybe there has been a lot of improvements from past reviews? We had an executive room, we were just passing through but the room was great, bathroom clean if basic but a massive room and a massive tv which we never got to use. Not sure what else you could want for the price. We didn’t do breakfast but the lobby and food area looked really good. Car park and exterior doesn’t do it justice but happy we chose it……

“I spent 4 nights at the Hotel du Vin in June 2024. I had never been to one of their properties before. Simon checked me in and was very helpful. The rooms are generous and I was very comfortable. "I stayed this hotel for one night on 14 Oct, everything was fine at the benning, since it was a bit cold on that day, so I turned on the a/c to 23 degree for heating up the room and it was really good to me and my wife for going to bed, however, when we were in deep sleep condition while we were waked up around 3 AM in the morning by a freezing temperature at 17 degree shown in the a/c controller. we finally could not go back to sleep even though we had adjusted the controller back to 23 degree. Very disappointed !"
