“The place was clean, well decorated and the kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and cookware. Beds were comfortable. Easy to find, nice location with quick access to downtown. My only complaint is the place smelled horribly of cigarettes. There was several glade plug ins, I guess to mask the smell, but it was still very strong. Even our clothing after leaving smelled. I didn't notice mention of it in other the reviews, so maybe it is something new, but either way was really disappointing for……

“Beautiful property with great amenities. Peaceful and clean stay for our family of four.”

“We love Decorah for a weekend getaway from the Twin Cities and the Bluffside Gardens was the PERFECT place to stay. It was right off the trout run trail so we could go biking right from our room without having to drive anywhere. Easy access to downtown and the room was very spacious and clean. We will for sure be back next year!”

“Fun cozy and unique The setting couldn’t be more beautiful. Enjoyed the amenities.”

“Loved the spacious apartment style - easy to relax in one space while others slept in. Beds were comfy, temperature was perfect even during an Iowa heatwave. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. (coffee in the cupboard!) Off street parking was a really nice perk. We will definitely be back! Almost forgot! The Koreana Japanese restaurant downstairs - perfect for a late night snack! 😋 (Along with beers from Pulpit Rock & Topling)”

“Nice quiet place, enjoyed out stay!”

“The house was the perfect fit for our group. Hosts communicated clearly and were extremely prompt to answer any questions.”

“The home is in a good location, beautifully designed and decorated in every corner, but usable shelf space is scarce in bedrooms and bathrooms especially. Hot tub was a nice feature and great way to relax. We had an elderly family member along who has limited mobility, and the main level bedroom/bathroom was a good option for them, though the bathroom could use a grab bar or two for even more accessibility. Mattresses are on the softer side (memory foam), which we found pretty comfortable,……

“Simple, spacious, clean & convenient! Gave our family plenty of space to hang out, eat, sleep and get ready the day. Bonus that colorful flowers were blooming on the hillside.”

“Great historic place that has great charm.”

“Overall a nice place to stay in Decorah. A 200 yard walk to Dixie’s Biergarten which has excellent food. If you are looking to bike, you can start right from the house.”

“Great location!”

“Great place! Quiet, spacious, comfortable beds, great communication from the owners/hosts... We already have our cabin booked again for some future stays! ”

“If your family has a reason to be in Decorah, Iowa and you need multiple bedrooms under the same roof, this is your place!”

“Very comfortable apartment. Very clean.Wellness steps added up quickly, walking up and down to 3rd floor.”

“We loved that it is right on the street to everything.”

“Clean and great location! I didn’t realize there were 4 apartments above Koreanna, which made it a bit noisy at times. There could be more furniture in the living room. The kitchen was minimalist—it had a toaster oven, toaster, microwave and small refrigerator. It sleeps 7.”

“Very easy to work with! Had a great experience in Decorah at these bluffside gardens! Very great room. Close to all of the amazing hikes and downtown. Would definitely come back! ”

“Very nice bunch of cottages, minutes from downtown (by car, and without having to use the main road, which is currently under construction). Convenient parking (in a lot) only steps from the unit. Very nice place.”
