The "Island Life" is a delightful space, with exactly what I needed: a clean safe place in a quiet area, easy access to the beach, and close to many things to do. The host Jonathan was welcoming and responded to my emails in an extremely timely manner. I was very happy to stay there.”

“Home was great and dog friendly. However, vacasa handles this property rental and is not local and don’t know what is even going on at there properties! Dog gate broke, code lock wouldn’t work consistently so we had to leave back door unlocked, no gas in grill, grill was disgusting, and old coffee still in coffee pot! Instructions for checking out include you vacuuming the property, sweeping the property, and wiping fridge out; but you pay a cleaning fee. So we tried to vacuum no suction was……

“Loved the house. Pool was great. Beds where very nice to sleep in. Only downside was a little far from things. Grocery store is about 20 mins south to the food loin. Would stay again.”

“Great place but too small for 2 adults and 2 kids. One more bedroom would have been better. The tv in bedroom was not working (the remote control was not changing channels).”

“The property was kept well. It was nice having the 2 different main areas. There were plenty of bathrooms. In the bunk room noticed the tv would not turn on. After investigating the tv was unplugged. No worries as we used the tv's in the house. It was a great experience all around.”

“First The cons: very poor communication and lack of follow through by vacasa . We did not get the gear credit of 250 after booking. VRBO has been amazing as always though!. We paid a cleaning fee which we were told by vacasa we had to sweep and vacuum b4 leaving. Also it was clear it hasn't been cleaned well prior to as the hot tub had a lot of sand in and master bath had a lot of mold/ mildew. There were belongings from previous renter still there. We were told access to pool 2 min walk but……

“Beautiful place, lots of room & nice yard, would be better if it was completely fenced as it is borders 2 streets. Beach access not suitable for anyone with disabilities. We however loved the home. Off season restaurant availability limited.”
