Perfect for our short stay

Check in and check out could not have been any easier. Property was very clean, however the condo was not cleaned the best upon our arrival. Pool and beach were beautiful, easy to access and very convenient with two little kids. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Management and maintenance is a joke

Rented this condo specifically for the jetted tub in main bedroom. When we arrived let management know that the jet covers had sharp pieces on them and that metal pieces were flaking off into water from sharp jet covers and that there was a nasty film in tub. After going back and forth with management and housekeeping and maintenance guy every day during our trip nothing was ever resolved. No attempt was ever made for the flaking metal pieces. Housekeeping came to clean hottub again but when they left there was still a layer of cleaner not rinsed through the entire tub. We cleaned it ourselves. Couldn't use fan in main bedroom due to it being loose and shaking loudly and light did not work in bedroom. Maintenance changed the light bulb but did not fix fan. Silverware drawer fell open on us and fridge was dirty. Handrail all the way up to 2nd floor is sharp and splintery.

Amazing customer service, beautiful beach, run down condo

I'll start by saying that 2 years ago we had a really difficult time in a condo here because the upstairs neighbor had remodeling going on that made our stay less than enjoyable. I reached out to management and they offered us a week in a timeshare unit for free at another time. That was this past week. My family has been staying at Hibiscus for years and have rented privately owned units, as well as timeshare units and always been happy with the condo. However, the unit that we were given this year was quite run down. Blinds would fall off when we opened/closed them, a closet door fell off and my husband fixed it enough to get us through, a kitchen drawer handle fell off and my husband fixed that, as well (as best he could to get us through the week). I found ice pop wrappers in the couch cushions and had ants in the master bathroom shower. I didn't feel like I could complain about these things because we were comped the week in this condo, but if I was a paying customer I would be really annoyed. We still love Hibiscus's beach, but will likely try renting in a different complex going forward.
