The Place to be🐝 St.Augustine and this condo!
Our location is perfect any time of the year.
One of kind condo experience: a setting which is a short walk to the beautiful flat beaches or free parking next to the pier. All your beach needs: umbrella, towels, beach chairs...and a beach cart!

As a fellow vacationer explains: it’s the 🐝hive to begin your exploration of the most ancient city in America! So many adventures if you choose to partake or not🦄We have enjoyed so many places in the time we have spent in St. Augustine. First walking to the beach, swimming, fishing off the pier, riding a bike to the inter-coastal with the seagulls in the morning, playing volleyball, hanging out listening to the outdoor concerts and music echoing from local hot spots.

Cool theme restaurants like The Conch house and newly renovated Panama Hattie’s. Salt Life restaurant which can pick you up by golf cart if your drinking more than one; the taco shop known for their UFO tacos, Le petit’s French bakery which has amazing omelets that are so huge you will have to share…. or not! Geez haven’t touched on the historic district which has so much good food and enjoyable/quaint evening dining, entertainment, sightseeing, and places to kick back and have a drink while listening to music and people watching from one of the many balconies. There is public parking however we suggest the Red Trolley, Uber, aLyft or even take the bikes if you’re the atheletic type.

There is a Farmers market several mornings during the week as well as major concerts in the local Amphitheater which you can get to by bike or less than mile drive. Dates and times available in The Social of St. Augustine on the internet.

Volleyball is available on the 6 beach courts next to the pier. One of our favorite things to do.

I like the pet adoption thrift store .5 mile away for unique things (the hubby doesn’t like that kind of hunting) and don’t forget to go to the alligator farm although a bit too close to the pet adoptions🧐🦔 for my liking. (Only kidding). so many adventures in the coolest place ever and we are originally from New York!

Best part of this is the location - just a couple of blocks to the beach and close to restaurants and bars. Only a couple of miles to historic old town. Condo property is very quiet - great for a family vacation.Condo is well equipped and comfortable. The host checked in with us before and during our stay. We had no issues with the property. Highly recommend!

The place was homey and cozy with an overall beach feel. It had everything we needed. They even had a bottle of wine waiting for us as well as bottled water. Kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need for cooking and baking. A 12 cup Coffee pot as well as a Keurig coffee pot were available plus coffee, creamer and Pods to get you started.The hosts, Lori and Jon, seemed to think of everything. They were very easy to communicate with and responded almost immediately. The location was perfect.. near everything. Great restaurants were nearby as well as the beach. Walk or drive! And it was only a short drive to so many attractions. The hosts description of everything was right on point. No surprises. We had a great time and would definitely come back if we are ever in the area again. Loved our time there!

Great Location, Clean, and Easy

Place was clean and check in was very smooth and easy.Check-In and Check- Out Proceduce were easy to follow. Location was great for getting around the Island, easy to hop in the car and get to the Letter Streets while also being close to the 312 bridge if you need to get downtown or hit any of the stores off of 207 or US-1. Great Place if you want to be near the beach but also be mobile around the different parts of St. Aug. Thank you

The best hosts ever!

The condo was great, the beds were comfortable, and there were a lot of supplies provided, including many things for the beach. It is convenient to A1A Beach and A1A, as well as St Augustine. Lori and John gave so much information about things to do and were very kind and understanding when we had car problems. We were so thankful that we could stay an extra night and they further helped us with a late checkout. They are truly dog friendly and the dog fee is really reasonable, plus there’s a beautiful area to walk them with a fence for privacy. The pool was an added bonus too. I look forward to another trip to St Augustine but I will be sure to schedule it for when A Place To Be is available!

It was definitely the place to be

We had an awesome time. Everything was close, the beach and the pool were an easy walk. If you choose to drive to the beach it's free parking. Shopping was no problem and found plenty of restaurants to try. Going back to the condo was like going home. Everything was there. A well stocked kitchen, even had a potato peeler. There's a full table and chairs which we actually used. Rare for us. We usually eat in the TV room it was a very nice change . The living room had plenty of seating. The TV was easily seen from any where you sat. There's 2 full baths wit the one right off the master bedroom. Nice comfortable mattress and the TV far enough away not to bother someone in the living room. Washer and dryer and a dishwasher. Highly recommend you give it a try.

Our second time staying here. Both times its been fantastic. And we are hoping next year will be number 3. It really is, “the place to be”. Location for our purposes is perfect. The beach, great food, and the amphitheater within a bike ride or walk. The place is exactly as described, fairly priced and with all the beach amenities provided sure makes packing the car easier. The wagon is a life saver for the beach! Im sure there are more expensive places to stay, but none any better at giving you every opportunity to thoroughly enjoy all that St Augustine offers. Try an ebike, we got ours from Sun and Fun, more really nice folks, and those bikes are FUN!

Out With the Old

Condo was dark and dated. Needs a good paint job and new bedroom carpet. The Queen bed mattress was horrible. Husband got out of bed and slept on sofa all week. Appliances were old, rusty and there were bugs in the hand sanitizer in the kitchen. We found a dead snake in one of the bedroom wicker baskets. Bath tub needs updating and upstairs guests were noisy every night. After we used a bath towel for a bath mat in each bathroom ( we couldn't find any) there were 4 bath towels left for 4 people. Had to wash towels everyday and dishes as well, none of which matched(towels or dishes )The 2 beach chairs for adults in the closet were old, rusted and nearly broke apart when used.The complex pool was closed all week which was never communicated to us prior to arriving at the condo. I'm sure the owners new about it as HOA sends out emails to owners about such things. Very disappointing for renters with young kids looking to swim on vacation. The free version of ROKU on the TV was horrible too. No premium channels to watch like Disney+, HGTV, Discovery, exct. Internet speed of 100 meg made downloading our pics extremely slow. Took over 24 hours. Condo location was very good but owners need to put some of the money they're getting back into the condo for improvements.

Nice Area

The condo was in a very nice area. Short walk to the beach and restaurants on the strip. Short drive to Historic area of Saint Augustine which is very beautiful!! The master bath had not been cleaned so i cleaned it myself and there was a dirty plate left in the cabinet which i also cleaned. The floors are beautiful the master bath has been redone nicely. The main bath could use some updating and the carpet in the bedrooms need changing. Yes i would stay there again. Thank you Lori and John

Great location for walking to the Beach

Loved the location as it was away from the hustle & bustle of downtown and was close to the beach for walking to each day. It was nice that a beach wagon, chairs, beach bag and towels were provided so we didn’t have to bring ours from home. I did like that we are on the bottom level so we didn’t have to climb the stairs, but the downside was the people above us. You could hear them walking around.

as close to perfection as you can get…

For my wife and I. Our 2nd trip to St Augustine. First trip we knew we wanted to come back, also knew we didnt want to stay where we did. Luckily, we found this place. As far as the booking process, everything worked exactly as designed. I had a few questions along the way, Lori was incredibly quick to answer. The place was very clean, comfortable, well stocked, plus some very kind niceties added just because I got the feeling they want their guests to not just give them money, but to REALLY enjoy their time there, like obviously they do. The location, again for us, was fantastic! Easy walk to the beach, where we spent hours each day. The beach, in April, for this winter worn couple was just incredible. Could not have ordered better weather for our stay. Close to everything that mattered as far as we were concerned. I really cant say enough good things about St Augustine, this condo and what an extraordinary time we had. If I had one suggestion, and its very small, but can make a big difference, add an air pump for bike tires to your really well stocked beach closet. I fished a lot, taking rods and holders, tackle, bait, all the stuff a fisherman “needs” required us renting a wagon from Drifters, 5 days for ~30 bucks! Worked perfect. We have fallen in love with St Augustine,our 11hour trip home today we made promises to each other this will be a yearly trip for us going forward. Highly recommend this place! Just please dont book up April!
