"2nd visit to GS within 6 months. 1st visit wasnt a fluke, and this hotel is perfect (almost - read on).... Location, incredibly hospitable and efficient staff from top to bottom, cleanliness, food and drink, etc. Will definitely be back upon it's re-opening in April. The ONLY negative is the fact that there is no aircon in the building. It's southerly facing aspect can't help either in this respect. I heard from the staff that 35° in the summer were quite uncomfortable. Yes I know each room has a fan, and I realise the building is older and it cannot be retro fitted, but a mobile unit at least in each room would help a good deal. IMO it's an issue that cant be ignored for much longer."

"The room was small windows needed a good clean, round one window in particular was needing plastered but other than that the room was perfectly clean. Apart from that we had a great stay Staff excellent so friendly and helpful, food was great the building itself is unique. Would definitely go back."

"House was spotless, spacious with lots of modern facilities. There’s lots of parking and location was very convenient for getting around the island. Dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave etc. all available ."
