“Excellent hotel and staff we where visiting for our 40th wedding anniversary as we had honeymooned on the island. We have visited on many occasions but our first visit to this hotel and would definitely recommend. Excellent position for the Battle of the Flowers parade.”

“The dining area and the lounge were excellent. The rooms were small and had poor cupboards in them. No aircon just a small desk fan - very warm room! Service outside the bar (ie around pool are) was extremely slow.”

“Immaculate hotel and the staff were always courteous and helpful. Ideally situated for us in the heart of the St Helier, near the marina, bus station and ferry ports. The breakfast was extensive and the evening buffet excellent and good value for residents at £32 per head.”

“The property was clean & generally well maintained, however it is an older property that would benefit from some updates, such as air conditioning I stayed during a very hot period & although there was a fan in my room it was not adequate, the windows also only open a little The rooms are generally well equipped, however would also benefit from having a small fridge The staff were very friendly & helpful & were always willing to offer information & help when needed The breakfast is very good……

“Fantastic location opposite the beach and lido with regular bus service. Had a spacious room with balcony and sea view. Buffet breakfast - good quality and freshly cooked. Ate in the restaurant a few times in the evening. Food and service were first rate. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.”

“Neat, tidy and spacious rooms with free full breakfast provided. In view that there is no air-conditioning in the room and guests must open the windows to get fresh air, the only drawback is that the windows are not fitted with mosquito screens.”
