“Hotel location is great as you can walk from St Helier back to the hotel.”

“Modern facilities with old-fashioned charm. The rooms are a good size; we had a view of the garden which was very pleasant. All the staff were cheerful and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is decked out in crisp white table cloths with smartly dressed waiters. Both the garden bar and the terrace at the front of the hotel with beautiful views across the bay are both lovely places to enjoy a drink. The outdoor pool looked good though we didn't use it. “I chose the hotel because of the lovely grounds and rooms looked nice and we were not disappointed. I requested a ground floor room which was a very good size and so much storage space. Carpets were deep pile and clean as was the whole room. We had a lovely view of the grounds. Bathroom had a good size walk in shower with easy controls and again was very clean. Check-in was very quick, carried out by the lovely, helpful staff. Chap we spoke to was very helpful giving us a sheet of the bus……

“The hotel is beautifully located with fabulous views, the only downside was the trek to the nearest bus stop, or rather the trek back uphill. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff from Debora in reception all the way to the charming folk who kept our room clean and well stocked with essentials. The waiting staff always had a smile and nothing was too much bother for them. We enjoyed the food with only one exception which was a Sunday roast and that was swiftly dealt with.. The pool and……

“The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Our room was the same and the mattress provided a very comfortable nights sleep which doesn’t happen at a lot of hotels. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food and the breakfast room is very comfortable and enjoyable. The staff all around the hotel particularly on reception are also excellent. I would highly recommend the Savoy to anyone. We have already booked for next year!”

For someone who has cycling around Jersey, the fact that the hotel had plenty of bike racks was a big bonus, including some that were under a shelter. The breakfast and restaurant were of a good quality. The only suggestion would be to look at Air Conditioning in the bedrooms. There's a large patio and upper patio with comfortable seating where you can eat and drink and relax in this wonderful setting. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Food was delicious. Staff all friendly and helpful. There's a bus stop right outside so easy access into St Helier and Corbiere. I'd love to return.”
