The real positives were the staff, genuinely lovely and welcoming – along with excellent food and a great selection of local beers on tap. It is very well equipped, and beds very comfortable with spotless linen. Even in cold weather, the cottage has more than enough radiators and a very efficient log burner to keep you warm.
