Great location but needs some TLC and updating.
This home was sufficient for what I needed. A couple of nights to attend a birthday party in Apalachicola. I would have been disappointed if I had chosen this home for a weeks vacation as I would have expected the home to be in better condition. The home was clean, the linens were sufficient, and the location was of course priceless on the beach. The blinds were missing slats, had broken slats, and just did not function. The furniture was stained in areas but sufficient for the duration. Towel bars falling off the walls little things that could have been taken better care of. There were a couple of steps you have to watch yourself on as they are rotten and in need of replacement. One of the beautiful things about SGI is the untouched raw beauty of nature and being un-commercialized. This property had excessive amounts of debris (bottle caps, cig butts, a screw driver, plastic lid and just little trash) in the yard. There was an outdoor shower and water hose for rinsing off the sand. Great pet friendly home . With some TLC and updating, this home could really be a fantastic place to stay for a weeks vacation due to the location.
