    With a fresh update of new paint, flooring and lighting, ‘Latitude Change’ is the perfect place for your next family getaway!

    The open living room is a great gathering space for family with a large, flat screen TV and Bluray player, 2 large sofas and plenty of board games for evenings spent together. The living room opens onto the furnished screened-in porch, a cozy place to enjoy lunch or dinner while listening to the crashing waves.

    Our kitchen has been revamped with all brand new stainless steel appliances and is well-equipped for your cooking needs. The eat-in breakfast bar seats up to 4, while the dining table can accommodate up to 8. A full size pantry makes grocery stocking easy and convenient and a gas grill can be found just outside on our covered porch.

    Our first Gulf facing bedroom has a Queen-size bed, flat screen TV and French-style doors which open onto a sundeck overlooking the driveway with peek-a-boo views of the Gulf. Across the hall is our bunk bedroom with 2 single bunk beds which can sleep up to 4.

    On the opposite end of the house is the second Gulf facing bedroom with Queen bed which also opens onto a sundeck and our fourth bedroom has 2 twin size beds. All bedrooms have plenty of closet space, fresh bedding and natural light. Both bathrooms are accessible from the main living quarters, just outside the bedrooms, and have combination tub/showers with grab bars for safety.

    Exterior amenities include a second refrigerator in our ground level laundry room, a hot/cold enclosed outdoor shower and screened-in fish cleaning area. The large covered carport has plenty of room for multiple vehicles and beach gear, and is a nice shady spot for little ones to play. Brand new in 2020, enjoy your own 13x26 private swimming pool! Pool heat available with advance request for an additional $400 + tax per week.

    Enjoy easy beach access via a sandy beach access path located directly across the street from our home, where a quick 3 minute walk will put your toes in the sand. Want to check out the Bayside? Take a short 3 minute stroll in the opposite direction via a nature path just behind our home. It’s the best of both worlds!

Absolutely lovely in every way. The perfect house for the perfect week!

We stayed for a week over Christmas and it was lovely. The hosts were highly communicative and made the stay amazing!

Loved the Location

This was our first trip to St George, and we will definitely be back. We loved the location of the house as it was an easy walk to the beach and a quick bike ride into town, and having our own pool was definitely a plus.

Great visit

I spent a month at Latitude Changes and every minute was enjoyable. The house is in a great location and is nicely equipped. Beach is a short 3 minute walk and bay access is easy too. Rental people were easy to deal with. I would definitely stay here again.

We just ended our week vacation on St. George Island. Even though we had quite a bit of rain during our stay, we enjoyed staying in your house. Perfect layout for families as the bedrooms are on each end of the house with a large family room and kitchen in the middle. Our 3 grandsons absolutely loved the pool and spent a lot of time swimming (day, evening, in the rain). As 70 and 73 year old grandparents, we appreciated the handrails in the shower and give you bonus points for having hi-boy toilets. The laundry room downstairs was a bit difficult with us having back and knee issues, but didn’t take away from our vacation. The stairs were a little too much for us old people. We were envious of the elevator sitting unusable. I was rather embarrassed to leave all of the sand in the house from the beach and would have been happy to clean the floors but no broom or vacuum! This was our first visit to the island and feel certain we will be back!

Awesome house, great location, would come back year after year.

We had 2 families with several young children and the house layout was perfect for that. It was clean, well stocked, beds were comfy, it’s close to the beach, the pool was so fun to have. We had a wonderful vacation at this beach house! We had an issue with the A/C and the property management people responded within an hour to get it working again. We were very pleased with our experience here!

First Time

This was our first time to the island and our rental was just what we were expecting. It was close enough to the beach that we could walk or drive & park at public access areas. The pool was a wonderful bonus. Would be nice to have more towels but we came prepared after reading other reviews. We would definitely rent again.

Great house, great location. Friendly contacts. Unfortunately during our stay it was too cold to heat the beautiful pool. Beach is walking distance so no need for bikes. During our stay the aeration pump was broken and ran very loudly 24 hours every day like a generator. Also no hair dryer, no aluminum foil or wrap in the pantry. Fix the aerator and it’s 5 stars.If you stay, there are no-see-em biting flies so buy DEET spray. Nice island for Nature walks and beach strolls!

Perfect Family Home

We had a great experience! It's a quick walk to the beach, the pool was a great addition and the living space being on one level was ideal with little ones. We enjoyed the screened in porch, outdoor shower, open layout and overall location of the home. We did encounter an AC unit hiccup and the staff was AMAZING at getting things fixed quickly and being kind and generous to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of. Recommend again and again.

Fall Break

This is our second stay here. The house suits our needs perfectly for 2 families with children of varying ages. Easy walk to beach or the bay. Everything was as expected. The Fridge downstairs is really handy for drinks. The grill worked well; the kitchen had everything we needed. We will very likely be back to Latitude Change.

Best vacation ever!

This property was amazing ! The house is spacious and clean. We rented a golf cart and drive to the beach, Although you can easily walk. I highly recommend the golf cart. The company was quick to respond went we reported an issue with the tv. They arrived within the hour to fix it !! We will be staying there again. Thank you for an awesome vacation!!!

Best trip ever

We had a fantastic stay at this house. The house was clean and ready for us when we got there. The pool is beautiful and it is a short walk/golfcart ride to the beach. The beds are comfortable and everything in the kitchen worked great! We had an ant issue by the pool and I texted the property manager. I got immediate results! They had pesticide out to spray and put out poison within hours. They even called the next day to follow up that it was satisfactory. I could not recommend this place enough! Julie

The beach path was incredibly convenient—even after full days on the sand, no one in our group minded the short walk.The house was perfect for our group, which included two families with kids ranging from 13 to 18. The teens especially loved being right across from the bike path, which gave them easy access to the island center for pickup basketball games and, of course, ice cream stops on the way back.The private pool was a big hit with everyone, and the kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals for a large group. I highly recommend renting through Forgotten Shores—their team was excellent from start to finish!

Great Family Vacation

The house was perfect for 2 families., 4 adults 4 teenagers. The house was clean, roomy and had everything we needed. It has a “peek a boo” view of the gulf from the screened in porch. The walk to the beach was a very easy maybe 3 minute stroll. We did visit the bayside a few times and opted to walk down the road since the “nature” trail was very much a nature trail. A bit too terrifying to me knowing there could snakes back there. But the road was a very easy and enjoyable stroll to the bay. Having the screened in porch was a godsend. It made it possible to sit outside without annoying bugs and kept the seats dry from rain and humidity. Because the house sits back from the gulf it was a bit warmer and less windy which made the pool very usable especially since it was heated. I would recommend this house to anyone vacationing on St George Island.

From the time of my very first inquiry until checkout, Lindsey's professionalism and intrapersonal skills surpassed almost any other rental or travel agents with whom I've interacted. Thanks to her insights and excellence at what she does, we enjoyed an excellent stay in this property. It is spacious, clean, adequately stocked, decorated with TLC, and conducive to relaxation. It's just a short walk to the beach, and yet set back enough from the water to protect our "stuff" from salty spray. Though we weren't intrested in the pool, it was cared for regularly, and looked appealing for those who might wanna take a dip. Infinite thanks to Lindsey and all at Forgotten Shores. We can't wait to get back to the magic of SGI.
