It did the job, was comfortable, clean, and had a great view of the lake. It wasn’t some luxury hotel but it was nice, dog friendly, and cute.

I loved the location! I love the balcony and they have a beach area that I got to sit out and read peacefully. The rooms need some updating, the slide door worked poorly. The breakfast is a nice touch. The location is awesome if you’re looking to explore Michigan
The hotel is just fine. I will say, our room was definitely clean. It’s just not well maintained, or kept up with. The screen on our balcony door was busted. It’s nice to have a balcony that overlooks the water, and it would have been great to have the screen
The staff was helpful, the room was clean, and the view can't be beat! We've stayed at this property several times over the years and we'll be back again.
This hotel is not handicap user friendly. There are big brick thresholds at the doors into the rooms which require a huge step to get in. I also struggled leaving, as once you step over the big brick threshold the cement walk is slanted away from the building and threw me off balance. And there are no grab bars for getting in and out of the tub. Also the patio door would not open.
That said, the view over the lake was beautiful, especially the day we were leaving as there were 2 freighters anchored in the bay because of high winds on the great lakes. Beds were comfortable. Not sure how breakfasts are the rest of the year, but the offerings were a bit sparse, which was understandable as it was the last weekend they were open until spring.
Immaculate clean room, parking available all throughout the day, amazing views from all the rooms, breakfast could have more selections

The room was clean as far as I could tell. The bathroom was so small that you had to move around the toilet to close the door on the olive green toilet and tub with a white bottom and a green mat to cover some of it. Screen was all ripped on patio door. Curtains had holes all throughout-husband said that was our starlight view.

Old and outdated. Friendly staff. No amenities that wasn’t outdated.
The room and bathroom were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and pleasant. Check-in and check-out were very quick. Everything was excellent, and I would definitely consider visiting again.
Breakfast was pretty lean, had their breakfast the first day, I was hungry an hour later. The second day went out to Fred's Up Dining & Truck Stop for a full breakfast, that carried me until dinner time. The jacuzzi was "out for the season", its August - this is the season! The bathroom throne is very small, its like a medieval torture device...draw your own conclusions. The good... very quiet, helpful staff, easy to get to, hot water, comfortable bed.
Property was not maintained. Dirty rooms and pool was not in use. Looked like it had been years since the pool was closed and they have no plans to remodel it. The whole place was just run down and horrible. Having access to a balcony from our room was nice to see the Lakefront view. That was the only good thing about our stay and probably the only reason people pay the money to stay here.
All pictures on Expedia site showed nice pool very clean updated property. Not so pool looked like it hasn’t been open for Ten years nothing on grounds like pictures. Expedia should not advertise this was terrible.
Staff were nice at check in. Continental breakfast was ok. My room was the problem it smelled like straight mold and the air conditioning needs a major deep clean. The place needs updating it’s not very well maintained. It’s a good enough place if you really needed a place fast and last minute. You definitely get what you pay for!

Room was decently clean. Property was in poor condition on outside. Wood deck was rotten. No pool or hot tub was able to be used. I stayed for the pool and hot tub.
The outdoor pool is out of service. The room had dead flies and a ton of spider webs. The mattresses are awful and no mattress protectors on them. Best thing was good water pressure in the shower. Disgusting - spent the whole night worrying about bed bugs. Railing rickety on balcony.
My stay was pleasurable... It's hard to keep places free of seasonal flying bugs, and I'm no phobe...the lake was almost glass...2 geese families grazed the yard this morning until dog walker came. Still cool to see them all swimming together on the lake to escape. Recommend to stay here.

It was ok and staff and view were very nice . Room was clean. Pool not open, one lamps was broken as was clock with all the outlets, so outlets were sparse. It was clean but area in front of water could’ve been better maintained, compared to nearby properties. Breakfast was sorely lacking. Probably won’t stay here again.
