Excellent Stay

Property was beautiful and quaint. View of the lake was breathtaking. Very clean and comfortable. Will recommend this place for a mini vacation. Very near the docks to go to Mackinaw Island. Dog friendly.

The Huron Hutch was a wonderful place to stay! Gorgeous views of the lake, comfortable inside and out with many thoughtful touches. The hosts were very responsive and kind. I did not want to leave and will definitely try to make a return trip.

Beautiful views

The home had plenty of space for our family of five to all have our own quiet space! The views are wonderful! I loved that they had family card and board games to play as well.

Our stay at the Huron Hut was fabulous! The house was beautifully decorated and very clean and organized. We cooked dinner each evening and the kitchen had everything we needed. The best part of our trip was being right on Lake Huron! The beach was lovely and watching the crane each day was a highlight. Thank you for a very memorable stay!

Great Location!

Beach Hutch was a great location to get to Mackinac Island and explore the UP. Cute beach but bring your water shoes as it's a bit rocky in the water. Great patio & fire pit. The house had lots of room for 7 of us and was clean. We enjoyed the view each morning drinking our coffee and watching the Sandhill Cranes walk up the beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed the serenity of this quiet beach house with spectacular views of the sunrise and Mackinac Island on the horizon. It was a delight to watch the sandhill cranes each day move about the beach. The kayaks were an added bonus and we were able to get on the water every day of our stay. The Beach Hutch had comfortable beds for sleeping, cozy living spaces for relaxing along with a furnished kitchen for making meals. The house was only a short distance from downtown St. Ignace and the ferry to Mackinac Island. The Huron Beach Hutch checked all the boxes for a relaxing, enjoyable vacation getaway for our family!

Everything about this property was perfect!

Our family had an incredible stay at the Huron Hutch! It was the perfect place for all six of us, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It’s very well kept, fully stocked, and hosts were willing to answer any questions we had. While we wished for warmer weather to fully enjoy the amazing outdoor spaces, we still took advantage of everything the property has to offer. The party store just down the street was a great convenience, and we loved the grill, beachside fire pit, and spacious outdoor area for our dog. The interior had plenty of room, and the large dining table quickly became our gathering spot for meals, games, puzzles, and making unforgettable memories. The back bedroom had 2 beds and was perfect for us with small children! This place is a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to return during the warmer months!

The beach cottage was a beautiful place to stay. Such amazing views. Plenty of room for everyone. It had almost everything you need, with grocery store nearby. The hosts responded quickly when we had a question. Very courteous. Hope to be back again..
