If you don't mind the steep hill, you can walk from one town to the other in about 15 minutes, and the Port Gaverne hotel was relatively affordable. The only thing we'd mention is that we were on the top floor, which had nice views but is up an extremely narrow and steep staircase. So if you couldn't make that climb, be sure...

「The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill.
