“The property is quite unique with history. Linda was so sweet and friendly and she gave us excellent recommendations for entertainment and dining. The restaurant right across the street, Spahr’s had an excellent breakfast with good ole Cajun dishes. When staying at Dansereau House make sure and take a peak at the beautiful bridal suites and have Linda tell you some ghost stories ”

“We certainly enjoyed our stay. The views and the bird watching off the back deck are certainly entertaining. We were even lucky enough to see an alligator one morning. I wish we hadn't been so busy with football in Baton Rouge, so we could have enjoyed the property even more. A return visit is a must! The town of Vacherie is so precious. We met lots of great people, especially at DJ's Grill (we went there twice). Thank you for letting us stay at your unique home.”
