“What a find in a beautiful area. Short trip off the A1 and absolutely stunning pub with rooms. Rooms were great, comfortable clean and has everything you will need for a good stay. Dinner was really tasty. Didn’t stop for breakfast but can only imagine how nice it would be.
Would definitely recommend and would stay next time I am in the area ”

“Loved the pub and Simon was super helpful. Best nights sleep ever in the best bed with lovely soft pillows. Food very good, especially breakfast (full Yorkshire breakfast) overall such great find. Highly recommended. Very dog friendly and lovely atmosphere.”

“Our stay at the Old Deanery has been fantastic, we weren't sure what to expect having read up on the Old Deanery, as we usually stay at Inn's for hikers, with a standard breakfast. I'm so pleased that we chose a two night stay with breakfast included, as it was such a special experience. We were welcomed and made to feel at ease by friendly staff, who are all passionate about giving their guests a real experience, not just an over night stay.
