Check-in and check-out were super simple. Office staff communicates by text upon flight arrival and drops a pin for easy navigation. St John roads are an adventure all by themself, so the pin really helps. We stayed in Guave and the view was stunning. From the spacious balcony you can see all of BVI as well Coral Bay and the east end of St. John. The unit is very nicely decorated and in good shape. The spacious kitchen has a surprising number of appliances, gadgets and even some common spices and condiments which really nice. The grounds are well kept as in the awesome infinity pool, though the property is a fairly steep hill and there are 54 steps between the upper units and the pool, and a few dozen more down to the rarely staffed office. The ladies are quick to respond to texts or calls though. There is a market just down the (very steep) hill, but the 20 minute drive into Cruz bay is well worth it (better still, stop by their market before heading to the mountain top). Their markets are better stocked and about 30% cheaper. If you want a peaceful retreat away from crowded family resort life and the best view on the island, Calichi is the place to be.

Calichi Point has been on my places to stay for many years and we finally decided to book our trip to St. John and our stay. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend staying here! The drive up (and down) is on some very windy roads but the view is breathtaking and the privacy can't be beat! With 75% of the island being a National Park, we took advantage of some hiking that led us to some pretty amazing beaches!! Dining is quite limited so plan to stock up on groceries and enjoy eating on your patio each day! We packed lunches on the days we hiked. We also enjoyed a couple massage on our balcony one afternoon which I highly recommend...the breeze and nature can't be beat! Our trip to St. John and especially our stay at Calichi Point met and exceeded all of our expectations! We will be back!! Our host was great with communicating with us prior to our arrival and were available for any questions we may have had.

This property is one best places we have stayed out. Beautiful view of the sunrise while looking towards BVI. Great pool, hot tub area to relax peacefully enjoying the view of Coral Bay. This location is the quite side of the island and about 30 min drive to Cruze bay. 10 min drive to Waterlemon bay, 15 min to Cinnamon bay/Maho bay.

This villa resort is in the luxury class of properties. It consists of six luxury villas which all have spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea and the islands of the British Virgin islands. These units sit on top of a mountain called Picture Point. The property is well maintained and each unit comes with all the amenities that you would need, including a washer and dryer. The infinity pool and hot tub are wonderful. If you want class and luxury this is the place to rent.

The villa was as described and great views overlooking Coral Bay. The location is excellent for those who would rather stay on the quieter side of the island away from Cruz Bay. The location makes it easy to access the remote beaches (hidden Gems) as well as the hiking trails all around such as Reef Bay and Rams Head. Property was in excellent condition with hot tubs, pool and all around relaxing environment. Tiffany (property manager) reached out ahead of the visit and ensured contact info and then upon reaching cruz bay gave excellent directions to the property and was there to show the villa and get you situated. Can't say any negatives about the location at all. For those unfamiliar with St John road systems and driving at night you need to adapt to that regardless of where you stay (Unless you're getting taxi's). Would highly recommend to anyone with a small group as the villas go between 1-2 bedrooms. Perfect set up for a couple(s). Thank you Tiffany!

A very special place. Amazing property with a view like no other. We stayed in papaya (hot tub on the roof). The place is well equipped and absolutely perfect, they even had beach chairs and a cooler to borrow. I can’t imagine staying at any other place in St John.

The property was just as described when we were booking our stay. The views from our room, and the pool area were amazing! The communication from the Caliche team was great, we were contacted by email as soon as making our reservations, giving us recommendations for our ferry transportation over to St John once arriving in St Thomas. They also gave us a few local vehicle rental places and offered to do our shopping for us to stock our refrigerator prior to our arrival. The day of our travel our Caliche team member sent us a text message basically giving us step by step directions on how to get there. I would definitely recommend Caliche if you're thinking about a St John vacation! Counting the days until we can return!
