“Basic, but fine if you want to stay close to the ferry.”

“Stayed at this hotel many times in advance of travelling to France and I’ve never had a TV that worked. Otherwise you get what you expect. The rooms are clean and spacious and the free breakfast fills a gap (especially nice bacon).”

“Excellent overnight stay prior to getting the Channel Tunnel to France for a holiday. Great location, lovely English pub, good food, great accommodation and lovely staff. Second stay here but will definitely book again if we are going to Europe in the future.”

“Hotel was very clean,staff very helpful. Breakfast was ok but the quality of cooked food could have been better. We went for a wedding which was lovely. We didn't use the spa or pool as only there for one night. It was the hottest day of the year and in the parts that were air conditioned it was ok but the actual wedding was outside in the garden and there was no shade for the quests we were all melting and got sun burnt so would advise if its the reason for your visit take hats or umbrella. “The family room was lovely and well equipped for 2 adults and 2 children. A couple of niggles in that the blind was broken in the bathroom and the rubbish bins were a bit on the small side. Staff were really lovely and nothing was any trouble. Breakfast was delicious and we had 1 meal there which was great. Lovely setting next to the river. Would highly recommend”

“Very clean room with plenty of tea making facilities and lots of hot water, fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Helpful full length mirror in bedroom. Some of the communal areas look a bit tired, but staff welcoming and room was great for my needs (staying overnight in area ready for family get together). Great location for Hythe and walk along seafront short drive away.”

“I would like to ask for a full refund really but I know I won't get one. We were left in property on our own and told to lock up when we come and go. The sheets on the beds were dirty. Bathroom dirty. Tea and coffee in the room but no milk. We left at half 4 in the morning with little or no sleep at all. Terrible place ”

“See view for room, but breakfast maybe need more different types of food provided egg or pancakes. The staff is nice. ”
