Stayed here the night before a cruise. The owner was very helpful before the trip to find us great places to eat and called a taxi for us. Great place to stay.

What a lovely guest house to stay. The room was everything we needed it to be: clean, comfortable, spacious and inviting. Alex was incredibly helpful and flexible with check in: The kitchen filled with items for breakfast was a lovely bonus. Great location near the castle and town. A very comfy nights sleep!

The room was clean and comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed our one night stay in Dover on our way to a cruise. Alex was so helpful and kind to weary travelers just off of a long flight from America. The coffee shop he recommended was awesome and so welcoming - they thought we would become regulars but unfortunately we had to leave Dover. Thank you again, Alex and best of luck with your beautiful hotel!!!!

Breakfast is self-service, with bread, cornflakes, fruit, yogurt, eggs, and other items provided in the kitchen for guests to prepare themselves. However, I would not describe the kitchen as particularly clean, as I noticed that the handles of the refrigerator and cabinets were covered dirt.

Our room was lovely. Spotlessly clean and with all the charming details that make a place special. It was warm in Dover; but a tower fan was provided and cracked windows let in fresh air. Staff was extra helpful with anything we needed or hadn't thought of-great taxi, pub and shopping recommendation. Continental breakfast was more than we expected and started the day in a good way. We are rookies in the UK; but look forward to staying again.

Churchill Guest House was the best first impression we had of the UK. After a long series of flights and delays coming into the home being greeted, (and insisted that they have our bags regardless how heavy they were). We couldnt have asked for a better stay. Alex set us up with a taxi to get to the cruise port, and was so helpful. Honestly if we come by Dover to stay again we'll be back here. We loved the property as well it was so cute and inviting.

We had a wonderful stay at Churchill Guest House. This beautiful historic building is full of character, with thoughtful touches that make it feel warm, authentic and truly cared for. Our room was cosy, spacious and spotless, with a very comfortable bed. Falling asleep to the gentle sound of the seagulls was wonderfully peaceful, and the refurbished bathroom, bathrobes and fan were much appreciated during the warm weather. Alex was a fantastic host, friendly, welcoming and always happy to help with great local recommendations. The location is perfect for exploring both the White Cliffs and Dover Castle.

This is a charming guesthouse in a very walkable location, near the Dover Castle, numerous pubs and restaurants. Alex the owner is super helpful and gracious. The kitchen was well-stocked with many breakfast items and there were a few good cafes nearby for a nice latte or flat white. Upon our departure, Alex arranged a taxi to take us to the cruise port which was very helpful. The room we stayed in had a comfortable bed and a lot of personality. If I find myself in Dover again, I will gladly stay at this property again!
