“it is in the old town center and just next to the main attractive points like cathedral. as it is a building over 500 years old, so no lift but wooden stairs only (but this is the reason i stay here). Shared toilet and bathroom is good (and you can enjoy the cathedral view when you are "relaxing"). ”
“The location within the cathedral grounds is a special feature. Lovely to wander around in the evening and easy for the restaurants.
Breakfast was fabulous with a choice of cooked or a large continental menu. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a smallish double and the shower was adequate but not a huge space. Overall a delightful experience.

“Great stay but no one to answer the listed Emergency Phone number for use when property is not staffed. Everything was great but when trying to store luggage for a few hours at the end of the second day stay there was no one available at property nor on the posted emergency phone number”
“Difficult to find, on a fishmarket, no way to check in earlier then 3pm (even when the room is ready), but Folkestone is great, that makes it more then okay! Room is small but very cosy. No closets, bathroom is small and not practical. Good bed, super view, great (expensive) diner at Rocksalt restaurant.

“Very walkable to area locations. Historically old but cleanest place I think I have ever stayed. Remember that many places don't have AC and this is one but fans in rooms with full length window open to balcony in our room. Narrow stairway to rooms if that means anything to anyone. Was fine for us. Breakfast was buffet style, tasty and we still had personal attention with refills, etc. Host made sure we had transportation to the cruise port.”
“A clean, well-run place. I booked at the last minute, so the email with information on accessing the place was sent by email while I was on the train. Wifi on the train was non-existent, so I had difficulty downloading the information, so I rang the landlord, who was extremely helpful. ”
“Absolutely lovely little spa hotel, staff are friendly and attentive and the brought-to-room breakfast is lovely, room was clean, warm and modern with great tea and coffee facilities, nearby to lots of cute attractions and easy to access, you can even book treatments last minute at the spa, would certainly book again especially for the fair room and treatment pricing ”
