Overall a nice stay (with a few minor hiccups)

Communication with Belinda was quick and efficient. More thorough check-in details would have been helpful due to cultural differences (ie- instructions on how to check the meters). She answered all of our questions and was helpful.House numbers were not on the mailbox like others in the area. (Tip - Look for the giant chicken statue in the neighbour’s front yard.)The private pool and deck was great. We enjoyed the rollup door that allowed full indoor outdoor living. (But this also meant LOTS of mosquitoes)A nice bonus- outlets for both EU and North American plugsA few things that made it a 4 star vs a 5 for us:Bath towels provided were actually hand towelsNo pillows for the master bed, only throw pillows. (we robbed from the guest room)No door to the master ensuite. With 2 bathrooms in the house, this wasn’t a deal breaker but could be awkward depending on travel partner. Some things need a door. Open air concept was nice - but there are only shutters to close at night and no way to make the rooms air tight when you turn on the air conditioner. As expensive as electricity is on island, this seems odd. Note: Coral Estates is far from most attractions. Not a criticism - just something to be aware of. Overall, Kas Amigos is a great house and I would recommend if it seems to fit your needs, with a few caveats as above.

Wonderful vacation home!

Belinda’s home in Coral Estates was the perfect place for our adult family to spend time together and explore this amazing island. It is close to so many beautiful beaches and having the restaurant facilities on the estate was very convenient. The home itself is well equipped for all your needs, and has a wonderful view! Beautiful Property & Amazing Location

Belinda’s property was beautiful, clean, and modern. The location was perfectly located between Willemstad and the Westpunt beaches, minimizing driving time. We also appreciated the safety of the location, being in a gated community that was very well staffed by security 24 hours. It was just the two of us, but the property would’ve been ideal for 2 couples or a family of 4. Thank you, Belinda!

Twee weken genieten

Toen ik bij aankomst de voordeur opende en het zwembad zag, wist ik dat ik een goede keus had gemaakt. De algemene indruk van de villa was meteen positief. Alles zag er schoon en goed onderhouden uit. De slaapkamer was wat kleiner dan ik dacht maar het bed was goed. Wat mij opviel was de moderne apparatuur in de keuken, hoewel ik daar geen gebruik van heb gemaakt. De meeste tijd werd doorgebracht bij het zwembad op fijne ligbedden. Door gebrek aan wind was het zeer warm, reden om bijna elke dag bij het heerlijke zwembad te blijven. Ik ben vaker op Curaçao geweest dus ik ken het eiland al. De ligging van de villa is perfect, nl. bijna de hele dag zon. Wat mij als stadsmens opviel was de stilte, je hoorde alleen maar vogels. Het uitzicht was geweldig, ik heb zelfs een gebergte in Venezuela kunnen zien. Fijn was de privacy, je zag nauwelijks je buren. Tegen de avond genoot ik met mijn logee van het eiland iedere keer van een prachtige zonsondergang en later van de sterrenhemel. Vlak bij de villa zijn op Coral Estate drie eetgelegenheden, verder is er niets. Een auto is daarom noodzakelijk, ook voor trips en het bezoeken van de mooie stranden. Het aangelegde strand van Coral Estate stelt niet veel voor. De vroege inchecktijd was voor mij prettig omdat ik al op het eiland verbleef. Communicatie met Belinda was perfect ondanks het tijdsverschil. Kas Amigos betekende voor mij twee weken echt genieten en ik hoop nog een keer terug te komen.

Beautiful and serene

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the house. It was so peaceful and calm and a welcome break from the hustle and bustle. The house was well equipped and the a/c worked efficiently to cool us down for sleep. The pool was great to relax in after daily excisions to local beaches. We also really enjoyed having 3 restaurants at the resort which helped simplify meal planning.

Beautiful home in Coral Estates

The home is beautiful and fully renovated. The views of the ocean and sunsets were amazing! We spent a lot of time lounging in the comfortable outdoor furniture or in the pool. A dream vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Kas Amigos in Coral Estate. The villa is well-equipped, in a quiet and peaceful location, with an overall sense of privacy. Belinda and Paul are attentive hosts, providing us with all the information we needed for our stay. We didn’t want to leave and would absolutely stay here again!!

Perfect and Peaceful

everything it looks like

Enjoyed our 35 days at the villa. It is everything it looks like in the pictures. Magnificent views and gorgeous sunsets. Had a pair of iguanas show up and sunbathe in the tree tops most days also many beautiful birds. Many beautiful beaches nearby.( St. Marie my favorite) Furthest beach north is about half hour scenic drive with many great beaches in between. Also about half hour south to Willemstad Queen Emma bridge. So car needed but great quite central location. Would definitely recommend staying here. Only bad thing would be insects tend to visit early morning late evening so maybe bring bug repellent (not really too bad)Also ants, need to seal your food good (Zip lock bags or fridge)they won't be around if you don't leave food out. Back door rattles with the wind when closed at night. (stick rags on side to stop noise) also door would shift and hang up sometimes when closing hopefully this gets fixed before next renters. A blender and maybe an outdoor grill would be great. But We wouldn't let any of these small things stop us from staying here . Really was very nice over all.

Great villa with amazing views

Very modern villa, great location in a quiet part of Coral Estate, recently renovated with very good kitchen and decor. The motorized roll up window to the pool deck makes opening the place up in the morning a snap.

Great quiet vacation retreat

This house is located in a great quiet area on the island. We spent most of our days around the private pool. The open concept to the pool area is very unique. The house has all that’s needed to relax in the island heat. The gated community that the house is in has some very good food & restaurant options. The owners of the home were terrific to communicate with. We would stay here again for sure!

Great stay in Curaçao!

This is an ideal house in Coral Estates, Curaçao. The owners make check in effortless since they can electronically open the door for you when you get there via smart lock. So, there is no need to try to set up a meeting time or go through a long check in (or check out) process. The house is newly remodeled and has a great kitchen. Since we cook almost all of our meals, this is a key benefit. All kitchen utensils, plates, bowls, knives that actually cut etc. are provided. The air conditioning in the bedrooms works great at night and there is a reliable hot water heater. Cleanliness was excellent, and we are very particular about this. We spent most days on deck/pool/open living area reading, sitting in the sun, enjoying the great pool and view of the ocean. We had a couple very minor questions (for example the cooktop would not turn on) and Belinda fixed things immediately. She was available via WhatsApp any time we had a question. We stay often in rental properties like this, and it was very refreshing to stay in a place that has everything including very modern appliances—in other words, it felt like a real home, not a rental property where often things are less than ideal or neglected. Regarding the area, this is was our second time at Coral Estates so we are very familiar. If you go you should be sure to understand though that you are not very close to Willemstad, so you can’t just go quickly for groceries or convenience items. However, there are a few small markets within probably 10 minutes that have essentials and a good amount of food, drinks, toilet paper or whatever you might need without having to go all the way to a larger market. For us, the relative seclusion is ideal. And of course on the property there is a restaurant and bar as well as a good pizza place so you don’t have to drive far if you don’t feel like cooking. We loved everything and would definitely return. Thanks for a great stay!

Delightful and Comfortable

My family and I had a wonderful time In Curacao. Belinda and Paul were a delight to work with!! Great vacation !

We've had almost 2 weeks at the villa, and the vacations were great ! The house itself is modern and spacious for the two of us, with 3 bedrooms ! It was all very clean and our beds were ready, we felt almost like at home ! We enjoyed the pool and the terrace with the desk : we've spended many hours resting here and having a view on the sea ! It's a beautiful house. The kitchen is all new, very well equiped, so we could prepare our meals as if we were at home. The villa is located in a quiet part of the island, in a gated communaty, with security team, and 2 nice restaurants and a spa we've tested too ! Belinda and Paul were very mindful and we could communicate a lot by e-mails and whatsapp of course. We've rented a car, so that we could visit the whole island, and we were free to go and do anything we wanted. There are many minimarkets from 5 minutes drive distance, and there's a big supermarket about 12 minutes drive (Centrum). Curaçao is a very attractive island, where you could do super snorkelling, and swim with turtles !!! There are also lots of things to visit (the main city with old and colored houses), old plantations, museums connected with slave history, great landscapes in the east part (powerfull waves !), and a safe country to explore. I think the villa is perfect for a vacation stay in Curaçao, you can rest and enjoy seaviews and hear many birds singing in the morning, which is a great thing for starting the day !! We recommand the villa, and Belinda & Paul are very concerned in asking to my numerous questions too. The first evening we went by taxi because we did'nt want to drive at night from the airport ;as it was on sunday evening, the shops were closed and we could'nt buy food, but we went to Karacter restaurant (delicious food) by walking in the safe gated community about 20 minutes. The next day we had our renting car ready, so we were free to go anywhere and visit. Hope you could enjoy the villa as well !

Amazing Vacation with Great Hosts!

Villa Kas Amigos met our getaway needs perfectly. It's secluded in the Curacao countryside, but the Coral Estates neighborhood is secure, well-lit and has a beautiful resort development (with restaurants, scuba and snorkeling rental stores and a pool). The villa, itself, includes everything you could need to meet your needs, including sufficient cookware and appliances, beach towels and chairs, and a couple coolers. You really do have a great view of the ocean, as we spent most of our time when at the villa on the outdoor deck around the pool. We generally cooked breakfast each morning and made lunch to take with us on the road, and then ate dinner out. There are several grocery marts within a 5-10 minute drive where we stocked up (the marts have beer, wine and liquor as well), and you don't dare miss the Williwood bar and restaurant located along the secondary roads to the villa. It has a huge flashing sign, live music, great food (limited menu, but all delicious with a beach beer or drink) and some fantastic hot sauce! We spent our days hitting new beaches all up and down the west/south coast, and a couple days in Willemstad soaking in the culture, shopping and watching a bit of Champions League soccer. The island is a desert island, so the vegetation is unique and includes lots of cacti and dense shrubbery with beautiful flowers. The various beaches are generally hemmed in by stark rock faces that make you feel like each one is your own paradise. We visited all varieties of beaches, from more crowded, public beaches to private resort ones, rock and sand beaches (though we were fine without them, some might generally like to have water shoes along to wear on the rockier beaches). Our favorite beach was Playa Lagun, which offered easy snorkeling, a beach bar with iguanas, and stunning pictures. You also can't miss the sunset and cliff jumping (!) at nearby Playa Forti. Overall, Villa Kas Amigos and Curacao offered just the right mix of relaxation and adventure, and we certainly recommend both. The owners and their on-island maintenance man Mr. Marti were attentive to our needs if we asked, and otherwise let us have our fun without intrusion. We'll certainly look to revisit the island and this villa again in the future.

Wonderful villa with a lovely view of the ocean

We stayed at this wonderful villa for 3 weeks. It was ideal for 4 adults and we loved every moment! The pictures are exactly what it looks like. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook meals with. The beds are comfortable and the pool area is perfect for lounging and eating outdoors. The owners are very pleasant to deal with and quick to respond to emails and inquiries. We will definitely be returning to this villa next year!

Fantastic location in paradise!

This was my wife and I's fourth trip to Curacao - we love this place! It has the best snorkeling we have seen! We brought our adult kids this time - by the second day they were planning on how to get back here again with their friends. They loved it too and were converted to avid snorkelers as well since only the oldest had tried it before. This is the first time we stayed at this particular house and we couldn't have asked for more. It was fantastic! The pool is perfect, the outdoor area and views are superb! The mosquitoes here are minuscule. Bug spray at the house isn't really needed. Though might be if you'll be hiking the Mount Christoffel trails or climbing it - we have not done this. The only problem we had was that the power had went out previous to our arrival - just a short off & on type thing that you get. The oven and stove needed to be reset before they could be used. The owners were great in helping us to get these going again. My wife and I both love to cook so we usually plan on making half our meals or more. With the Centrum market nearby - this is very easy to do on Curacao. The beaches are great and the fish are there to see as soon as you get your mask on in the water. Playa Piscado (spelling?) is the place to go to see sea turtles. Otherwise our favorite beach is Playa Lagun which was about a 30 minute drive from the Coral Estates area. There's everything you need there for a full day of sun, swimming, and snorkeling. We will be returning to Curacao again, when and how many times we are trying to figure out. You will not regret staying at this house nor visiting Curacao.
