Breathtaking views.

Wonderful hotel. Beautiful view. Breathtaking. Just difficult to climb up the hill so recommend taking a taxi.

Great place to rest and relax. The view is great and the staff is outstanding. My wife and children had to leave really early to catch a train and they setup a table for them to have breakfast, even when it was outside their usual time. Is a great hotel to experience St. Moritz without having to pay that premium hotel experience but still enjoy the best of Swiss hospitality.

Since we knew the hotel was close to the railway station, we called for directions after exiting from the station. The staff walked halfway to the station, greeted us and brought us to the reception desk. The check in was smooth. The staff provided valuable information on the neighborhood and places for dinner. The best reception and check in in Switzerland.

I agonized about which area of St. Moritz to stay in. As we were there to ski, I chose this ski in and out property to maximize our one full day on the slopes. I couldn't have chosen better. Our double room was perfect. Also, we speak Italian, so we were pleasantly surprised to find out the gregarious, very personable owner and his staff were Italian. Like the saying goes, "it's not a party if it's not at Salastrains"... It was definitely a party! Grazie mille Signor Grillo dell'ospitalità eccezionale!

Vi ble godt mottatt, fikk fyldig informasjon om hotellet og det vi trengte for å bo der. Caroline som betjente resepsjonen de to dagene vi var der, fortjener anerkjennelse for sin bistand overfor oss. Hun er en ressurs for hotellet. Vi satte stor pris på å bo på hotellet, og middagen vi hadde på restauranten.

Bon hôtel avec remontées mécaniques comprises

Très bon séjour, hôtel à 10 minutes à pied du funiculaire de Chantarella, très pratique en été. Carte de remontées mécaniques offerte en été à partir de 2 nuits. Très bien pour marcher sur les sentiers en d'altitude ou pour aller admirer la vue depuis le sommet. Parking disponible gratuitement, bien que rapidement plein. Le funiculaire descend également au centre de St Moritz mais seulement jusqu'à 17h. Un restaurant se trouve dans l'hôtel.

St.Moritzリピーターの方へおすすめです。街からは遠いため、買い物などには不便ですが、カウベルの聞こえる山あいにあり、リラックスできます。冬場はスキーに最適。St.Moritzのシュールプラッツからのケーブルカーで(ピッツネアーへの1つ目のケーブルカー）駅から徒歩で15分程度のお散歩コースは、夏場は高山植物のお花畑がきれいでした。ただ隣の部屋の音が聞こえるので、気になる方は？です。

Wohl eher für den Winter/Skiurlaub zu empfehlen

Unpersönliches Personal (Auskünfte, Präsenz, Kommunikation mäßig), Frühstücksbüfett eher dürftig,auch wenn man sehr früh da ist, Lage in Ordnung, wenn man weiß, dass es von St. Moritz nochmal gute fünfzehn Minuten in Serpentinen, die voller Baustellen sind, bergauf geht, was sich teilweise sehr stressig und langwierig anfühlte, gerade, wenn man von einer langen Wandertour zurückkommt.

Hoch über St. Moritz am Ende der Strasse leigt das gemütliche Hotel, das eine Ausgezeichnete Aussicht hat. Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon mit wunderbarer Sicht.

Bellissimo ma un po' spartano

L'albergo è bellissimo per la struttura (profuma di legno!) e la location a ridosso delle piste che in estate si trasformano in prati da pascolo. La camera avuta era molto spartana (senza frigobar), sanitari del bagno vecchi, balconcino (spettacolare!) non pavimentato e purtroppo con gli escrementi delle rondini che nidificano nel tetto sovrastante (comunque bellissimo). La vera pecca è la colazione: sia alle 8 del mattino, sia alle 9:30 non veniva regolarmente rifornito il buffet per cui bisognava eventualmente chiedere al personale comunque gentile ma indaffarato. Poca la scelta proposta; scusandosi per l'affluenza non prevista, si sono offerti per preparare anche un uovo strapazzato su richiesta. Gentili, ma non sta bene dover chiedere ed aspettare se il servizio è a buffet. Lo consiglio per chi ama la natura e la tranquillità in estate.

The hotel has a great view. It is exactly what we were looking for when decided for this hotel. Very clean room and it is on the top of the mountain. Woke up with the sounds of the bells hanging from the cow's neck. The hotel was very quite, due to the in between seasons. Breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful even though we did not see anyone on the front desk for most of our time there. We will certainly go back.
