「We are repeat visitors to Tradewinds and had another fantastic trip. The house is in a prime location across from Mullins Beach, and is perfectly set up to accommodate a party of 8 (the top bedroom most suited to teens or younger). Bedrooms and bathrooms are well laid out, with air conditioning in all of the former. Fans are in the internal and external communal areas which provide a decent breeze. The kitchen is well equipped, and it is very convenient to have a washer and dryer on the property...

「Nadia and Barbara were excellent communicators. Apartment has wonderful ocean views and is close to the beach, bars and restaurants. Bakery is opposite and Eddys supermarket a couple of minutes walk away. Also a short walk from the bus station. Apartment has everything you could think off to make for an enjoyable stay. This was our 2nd visit and we’ll be back. 」

「We had a fantastic stay at the Chindwin house! Our group of 10 people had plenty of room and enjoyed staying here for 7 nights. The pool was great fun after the sun went down, and the big covered porch kept us in the shade and out of the rain. 「If you are looking for luxury this is not for you. BUT if you are looking for a perfect beach with chairs/umbrellas provided and a "chill" location, this is it. We've been coming to Barbados for over 25 years and Speightstown is my favorite part. It's got the gorgeous west coast beaches without the obscene Sandy Lane prices. There are literally roosters-hens-chicks on the side of the road; a local large grocery store, multiple small restaurants/bars with live music, and my favorite local jeweler...

「As the website (now) says, this is actually 2 separate 2-bed en suite apartments. We (2 single friends) only had the downstairs one, which was beautifully clean and well-maintained, with excellent air-con, a good size kitchen area, and a good, shady, outside patio area. There is no sea view from there, and upstairs it is minimal and distant, so you won't see or hear waves crashing on the shore, which I had hoped for! The furnishings are comfortable, not luxurious, which worked well for the kids. The appliances are a little battered but worked. The pool was wonderful, as were the monkeys in the yard.We were a little further from the beach than we expected but enjoyed the 15 minute walk through Speightstown, a charming little town.
