Peaceful retreat

A wonderful stay

The home was just as advertised. The communication with the owner was easy and timely. My family of 6 plus my mother all had room to spread out. The kitchen was stocked very well and made cooking easy. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Perfect family vacation

Our family truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely FL home. Amy was a gracious and very responsive host, emailing to make sure we were settled and happy. Our children loved the heated pool, fishing from the dock and the dolphin who visited the canal. We could not have asked for a better "home away from home"! Highly recommend and definitely hope to stay again next winter.

Family Getaway

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful home for 5 nights. It was more than large enough to accommodate our group of four adults and two older kids with lots of seating and relaxation options. The pool and dock were amazing and the setting serene, tucked into a quiet neighborhood with close access to restaurants and entertainment. House was clean and nicely decorated and Amy was a welcoming host. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful stay in St. Petes

We very much enjoyed our stay. The manatees were a highlight for our family. I could have sat on the dock all day watching them. We were lucky they were there. The house was perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed the proximity to St. Petes as we attened an event at Vinroy Park. Lots to do downtown. We also enjoyed the Chattaway for lunch and Southside Coffee for breakfast and delicious espresso. Amy was very responsive and the home was beautiful. I love the beachy feel. Thank you!

Great Stay

The pool is AMAZING! It’s about a 20 minute drive to pass a grill. My son was bummed about so much seaweed in the canal but nothing that would of been done about that. He was hoping to fish more. Property managers were quick to respond to any issues we had.

First VRBO experience

For the last 10 years, my family and I have been doing week long Summer vacations that we all look forward to every year. As the years passed, and our family has grown, we outgrew our traditional condo in the panhandle and opted to travel further south to enjoy an entire space of our own. Booking, check in, and all communications with Amy were seamless throughout our stay, however we had several issues the property itself. The outside property is very poorly maintained. Listing pictures show a maintained pool deck, furniture with cushions, live plants, and significantly less clutter than what we were welcomed to. The pool deck we experienced was full of rusted sunscreen bottles on outdoor shelving, unusable furniture do to safety concerns, caked up leaves and other debris all around the pool cover, the outdoor shower was not hooked up to water source and was not secured to any structure, the hose was in a knotted pile on the side of the pool, the side of the house was completely cluttered with owner items. Inside of the house was as advertised, however we were given approx. 6 towels for 9 guests, the master bedroom had no comforter or blanket on the bed. The laundry room is located in the garage and is a complete mess due to owner property and unsafe for use by anyone other than an adult. The hot water heater turned off mid week. Lastly, an entire cabinet of glasses fell off the wall onto my sister as she opened the cabinet due to poor installation. She was covered in bruises

We felt at home from the moment we arrived with three generations of family staying at the house, visiting a family member who is a student at a local college. The house was comfortable, and felt spacious because of the many spaces people could sit and relax in for conversation and activities. The house was well equipped for our needs, well stocked with unexpected extras and it was exceptionally clean, yet homey. We can’t wait to come back again for college visits!

The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Having a swimming pool outside the back door was a real treat and we used it every day. We also enjoyed kayaking to the bay and paddling around. It was nice to just launch from the backyard dock. The beaches are a little bit of a drive from the house, but really not bad at all.
