Tropical vacation vibes

The house was great. Super clean and it had a very tropical feel. The pool area was like stepping into a Costa Rica jungle scene with a backyard full of tropical plants and huge rocks. The beach was just a two minute drive away and it was absolutely beautiful with crystal clear water and amazing sunsets. Me and my kids loved it all.

Aqua Parrot is a good deal

Location Location Location! I loved the location! The beach activities and places along Gulf Blvd are so convenient. This place has so much space. I know this place can be improved upon and has some wear & tear, but the place is in such a great location with so much to do that none of that really bothers me. I liked that the grass was cut during my stay. The yards are big & the smell of cut grass was pleasant. It was done at a decent hour not too early. I didn’t mind the mower at all. The decor is fun & some retro style things remind me of the good old days like the flak stone out front and the wooden ceiling in the kitchen. I will return with my dog in the future. I loved how the kids could play in the back yard while I watched them. The pool is huge and shaded so we didn’t get extra sunburned after a day at the beach. The beach is so close to this house. It took us very little time to get to the beach and we found free parking at the beach. It was nice jumping in the pool after hitting the beach. I liked being able to wash / dry my clothes too and there is tons of space in laundry to fold clothes right there in laundry on counters. Had we brought our dog I could have even let the dog stay in that large laundry room during our outings for dinner etc. It’s a cool place. Loved it! That jacuzzi style bath tub is great for a hot soak. We discovered a Cuban sandwich shop nearby. We also loved eating at Proino Breakfast Club just on the corner nearby. The vast menu includes tasty crepes which enjoyed thoroughly. All and all this is a relaxing place to be. I would certainly come again next year.

Great layout but in need of TLC

This home is just a little TLC away from 5 stars. Some basic maintenance would go a long way to enhancing the experience and value of this home. Would recommend a fresh coat of paint throughout and addressing some minor cracks in walls/ ceilings. Shower head in main washroom should be replaced as was non-functional due to mineral buildup and ensuite washroom lacked a fan. Floor tiles in kitchen need to be replaced as several are cracked. Similarly, the exterior grounds are in need of general maintenance. These are not an exhaustive list of recommended improvements but would go a long way to maximizing the potential of this property. Otherwise, the layout and quiet location were wonderful. More than once I found myself thinking about how easy and relatively inexpensive it would be to turn this house into a gem. I sincerely hope the owner does as I would gladly return to stay with such upgrades.
