Jennifer (the host) and her mom (maintains the premises) are AMAZING. We just love them. My wife and I enjoyed the property 100% - we don’t think it gets much better, and the price was VERY competitive.
We never had to use our car, because everything is within walking distance, yet the house is tucked into a neighborhood where you feel off the beaten path - it’s just perfect! After this experience, we will gladly stay at Jennifer’s other properties.
The only reason I gave 3 stars (instead of 5) for the accuracy of the listing, is because we were under the impression that we were going to be alone in the house. As it turns out, while you do have access to the entire house, everything is shared space except your bedroom. There are 5 or so bedrooms, so you could possibly be sharing the house with up to 4 other parties, all competing for living room, kitchen, and porch space. There were 2 other parties there while we were there, but they were either out all the time or stayed in their rooms, because we rarely saw them and ended up having the house to ourselves anytime we were in the common spaces. The best way to describe the rental is “A Bed and Breakfast Without the Breakfast.”
Truly, the experience in the house was amazing, just be aware that your only guaranteed private space is your bedroom - you have access to the whole house, but you could be sharing it with up to four other parties. Our particular experience, though, was wonderful!!
