Location is great. Communication from the management team is great. The property is dated seems dingy (living room furniture). Bedding could at least match in second bedroom. The kitchen was quite dirty. Spots of food inside the refrigerator and on the outside of the microwave. Several of the dishes I pulled from the cupboard were dirty, so I ended up having to wash everything I used. Kitchen only partially stocked, for instance, there were no lids to the pots & pans. Only one frying pan, no scissors, etc. There was construction in the unit above, so it was quite noisy during the day. Also, I get trust it’s a vacation house, but a clock in the master bedroom would be helpful. At one point, all exterior gate codes were changed. We were not notified by the management company. Another resident let us know why they were changed and what the new codes were. With all the properties to choose from along the coast, I’ll look for a different one next time.

Great location!
We loved our stay at Sandy Shores! Location was perfect for our family, with John’s Pass right across the street, we barely had to drive anywhere beside the grocery store. There is so much to do & so many restaurants to enjoy in John’s Pass. We enjoyed the pool & the beach, & the supply of beach toys, towels & chairs was a great bonus. The condo was clean, updated & worked great for our family.

Awesome condo, amazing location
We stayed here for a weekend friend trip. There were 4 of us, so all the beds were used. They were all totally fine. They were softer mattresses than we may have preferred but none of us thought they were bad. The condo was clean and stocked with what we needed, but we didn't cook or eat in the condo really at all. They provided some beach stuff (we didn't use it but would next time!) like chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, and some toys. The furniture was comfy too. But let's talk about the location. THAT VIEW! OMG. That alone is why you should stay here. We took a sunset cruise but honestly, the sunset from the beach right in front of our condo was the best! From condo to beach is a very short walk - SO short! And you can see the beach and the ocean from the pool area. Originally we were disappointed there wasn't a hot tub, but in November it was still hot enough to not need it at all. The pool was nice and the area around the pool has tables with shade. There was also a place to grill out (although we didn't use it). There are a LOT of codes here - for the elevator, for the stairs, for the gates, for the door, etc, but I think that's probably fairly normal in areas like this. There are a handful of decent places to eat across the street too, which was handy. If you are looking for coffee, go down the street just a bit to Sweet Brewnettes. It was SO good!

I enjoyed by stay but just need to tell you the bathroom vent in the master bathroom is really dirty. And the toilet's are ready dirty up on the top of the rings of them.i mean really dirty. They to fix the refrigerator shelves. Thank you Peggy sayland.

Overall the place is nice. The mattresses were in desperate need of replacing. Couch was in bad shape as well. We did see and kill roaches in master bath upon our arrival. Called mgmt office about it. They sent a maintenance guy over to spray the area. We didnt see anymore until our last night there.

Great location
Loved the proximity to the beach and water. Waking up to that view was unbelievable! Only complaint was the noise from the upstairs neighbor, they have a dog that is constantly making noise. Other than that, we loved the stay and would do it again. Communication with the management company was quick and efficient. I liked the fact that I was able to contact them at any point and they responded kindly and with all the information I needed. Thank you for allowing us to stay. My little girl had a perfect 7th birthday.

Perfect Madeira Beach Condo

Incredible location!
We had the best stay at Sandy Shores! It’s the perfect location, pool and beach right there and John’s Pass across the street with endless shops and restaurants. The condo was perfect and we loved the balcony. Lots of beach equipment provided. It would have been nice to have a couple extra towels in the bathrooms and rags in the kitchen. Laundry soap would be a nice addition as well. Otherwise it was the perfect stay for our family with two small kiddos. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay!
The condo was clean and well kept. The view is beautiful. It’s worth mentioning the balcony only has chairs, so no way of laying down out there. There are no rugs throughout the whole property. Just have to be careful stepping out of the showers. Also the pool was a little closer than I thought which wasn’t that big of a deal. Keep in mind it’s the first floor. But you will only have privacy on the balcony at night after pool hours. The location is perfect for John’s pass and nearby shopping etc. The beach and property outside the condo is well kept. Communication with the property owners was easy and fast with any questions we had. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Great Girls Weekend Away
This condo was a great location for our girls weekend. We loved having the beach, pool, restaurants, music and shopping all within walking distance. Our only wish was that there were more places for food or drink right on the beach, like at St. Pete's. It is not a bad drive to other places we were heading like Riverview (1.6 hrs), Ybor City (>1 hr), St. Pete Beach (14 mins), Indian Rocks Beach (>10 mins) and TPA (about 45 mins). Prime sunset views and star gazing every night. The kitchen is stocked well and the refrigerator is spacious. We appreciated the beach towels and starter items in the condo. It was pretty quiet being an April week after Spring Breaks. A few minor suggestions for improvement are hooks on the baxk of the bathroom doors or more places to hang clothing while in the bathrooms. Also, the twin and double beds are a little squeaky and not the most comfortable. That bedroom with the two beds needs a working lamp with the light switch so you can see where you are going walking into the room. The hallway light helps somewhat. The phone service in the unit was spotty but making calls from the balcony or master bedroom worked well. Watch what food you leave on the kitchen counter and balcony, if unattended. We found little bugs in some of our dry food and birds land regularly outside looking for food. The condo building itself is dated, but had all we needed. We felt safe knowing there are codes to access the pool, elevators, stairs and our condo. The code on the gate leading to the beach was broken and we kept seeing people pull the handle off accidentally. Overall, it was a very good place to take long walks on the beach and relax by the pool.

Condo itself was great. Great view. Wake up looking at the ocean from the master bedroom. Excellent walking beach. John’s pass provides restaurants and lots of shops. It was a great time all round.

Fantastic unit
My husband and I rented this unit with my sister and brother in law. We have stayed in 3 other units in this building and this was by far the best one. It was very clean and the furnishings were nice. You can tell the owners care about the unit and their guests. We will definitely stay in this unit again.

No cable?
Great place to stay. Two downsides: The couch is really uncomfortable. I was told there was cable but when I got there the owner had switched out cable for free Samsung channels. Ugh 😣. No major channels, ESPN, etc. the maintenance guy came and fixed me up for the week but I’m pretty sure it’s temporary. They did it because I was told there would be cable. Sure they will pull it now. I watch too much sports to not get cable. Won’t go there next year.

Perfect week!!
This was our 3rd trip, this year, to Madeira Beach! We had previously stayed farther down the beach about a mile. But decided this time, we wanted to stay closer to John's Pass, and man, was this the perfect location!!! So convenient to walk across the street to the restaurants and shops. Even walked over the bridge for dinner one night. The beach is beautiful. We enjoyed watching the boats coming and going all week long from either our wonderful balcony or on the beach. Weather was perfect for the most part. One day was cool and windy so we ventured out and went to Clearwater for the afternoon. The condo was very spacious. Only thing we noticed, was the living room furniture could be updated and more comfortable. LOVED the outdoor tall chairs and table. that made viewing over the railing wonderful!! We spent every morning on the balcony eating breakfast and enjoying the beautiful views. Dolphins were out just about everyday on and off thru out the day. We will definitely be staying here from now on. Perfect location!!!

This property was amazing! It’s on the beach with it’s own beach access, has a pool, right across the street from John’s Pass! Only thing I wish it had was a hot tub, the pool is very warm but a hot tub would have been amazing!

In a word - PERFECT
Communication with owner before, during and after stay was excellent. Very responsive and committed to making our stay pleasant. Unit 103 is spacious, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything our family of 5 needed. Word of advice - check out the closet in the master bedroom before buying beach supplies. It’s stocked with several beach chairs, mats, an umbrella, inner tubes and buckets/shovels. We also left some footballs behind. The view from the balcony is incredible and big enough for all of us to hang out on. We saw quite a few dolphins enjoying our coffee right after sunset. We’d definitely return!

Wonderful!
We just returned from a wonderful stay in Madeira Beach! The condo was newly remodeled and extremely clean which was wonderful. The view from the balcony and master bedroom are what make this place AMAZING! A couple of negatives worth mentioning are 1. The master bed is SUPER squeaky. It is very comfortable but, it is VERY loud when rolling over or getting in or out of the bed. 2. The noise. You can hear everything that goes on in the hallway as if it were right in the room. Also, the master bedroom is right above the pool gate so it's very loud when people go in and out of that gate. Also, there were no beach towels in the condo as the description mentions. No big deal though, we will just bring our own next time. These negatives are not enough to keep us away though, we have already booked for next year. The location of the condo being across the street from John's Pass and the ocean views make this the best place to stay, in my opinion. We can't wait to return!

Very pleasant overall
The condo was in a lovely area, perfect for the beach and overlooks the pool so no issues with that. Clean linen, towels etc although the floor was filthy when we arrived. The facilities were adequate enough but bare in mind over the weekends the place gets very busy and the pool is overpacked. The first weekend we were there the pool was full due to a very large party (work party maybe) from some conference. All adult ages, all drinking and completely took up the shallow end of the pool meaning the kids couldn’t use it. One man passed out drunk and nearly drowned to the extent the emergency services had to be called. The following weekend was just as busy in the pool (albeit not a works party) but seemingly the code is given out for everyone to use. Didn’t spoil our stay at all and I’d would definitely recommend this property

Nice condo. Easy access to beach / pool. Property was well kept. The community washer/ dryer wasn’t useable but that was a complex issue. Only negative is the stairwell doors slam at all hours and did wake us up. Tons of shops restaurants across the street. Lisa’s- good breakfast. Bubba gumps wasn’t good. Fisherman’s fish tacos were good!

The condo unit itself is 5- star! Excellent location. Beautiful beach!
Great condo! Something needs to be done about quiet hours after 10 p.m. in pool area. I had to call the police once and the second time yelled at the people in the pool area playing loud music and partying at 1 a.m. I have never had this happen anywhere on any vacation in my life! I am 55-yrs-old. Serious flaw in Sandy Shores.

The property location was wonderful. I would highly recommend the unit for that reason. The property itself was ok. Not decorated super nicely, it could use a coat of paint and upgrades but we weren’t there to hang inside, I guess. There wasn’t any Salt or Pepper which wasn’t a big deal, just annoying. Also, We had an encounter with a extremely rude man who claimed he was the owner of the building. When we were having an issue using the units door locks He called us “all a bunch of drunks” and walked away. Funny thing is the person who he was speaking to hadn’t even been drinking. Plus Mind you, we were a group of middle aged women, not a bunch of young spring breakers acting like fools. So that definitely ruffled some feathers. However, all in all it was a great stay.

Family Vacation
This place needs updated pictures…..the flooring has all been replaced with laminate throughout. Beautiful place. Absolutely perfect location for all ages. The only thing I would suggest….could use another towel bar in each bathroom or hooks on the doors. And replacing outlets…nothing would stay in them. My daughters also suggested a full length mirror in one of the bedrooms would be nice. Check in was great and if we had any problems or needed something they handled it quickly. Also the extra spot for parking for a guest is a HUGE PLUS! Would love to stay here yearly…. But already booked. 😢

We had a great time on Madeira Beach! Our condo had a great view and was nice and spacious. It was a little lacking in coffee cups and beach towels but one quick text and they were at the condo first thing in the am!! Towels and coffee cups eight away!
