Great condo on the beach

We’ve stayed on gulf view in Madeira the last 5 years and this was our favorite property so far. Lots of hurricane damage in the area but they seem to be cleaning up and rebuilding well.

The property has a great location, lots of space, and was well equipped for our family of five. We had some issues at check in and during our stay. These things were preventable, but were addressed satisfactorily by the management company when we brought it to their attention.

Great Location!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Admirals Townhouse. It had plenty of room for the 6 of us and both of our cars fit into the garage. The location near John’s Pass was great and the beach was beautiful.

Family week at the beach

Cozy

We had an incredible stay at the Admirals Townhouse rental! The location was absolutely perfect. The location was perfect has many shops and restaurants that were walking distance. The rental was spotless , spacious, and well-equipped. They provided beach chairs and towels were a thoughtful touch, making it easy to relax on the shore without any hassle. After searching for a post-hurricane beach rental, I was pleasantly surprised by how well this property had recovered.

Admirals Townhouse - Madeira Beach May 18-24

The property is in a great location. Very convenient to shops, restaurants, etc. The unit was clean when we arrived and was very comfortable. The bedrooms could have used some more storage furniture (like dressers for clothes, etc.) The beach is beautiful and everyone loved it. The disappointing part of the stay was that we were never told that the pool (that had originally been outside of the front of the unit) was no longer there. It appears last year's hurricane damaged it to the point where it had to be completely removed. It's understandable but we should have been made aware of this. Also, the unit could have better beach equipment (like beach umbrellas) as the sun is very strong.

Standard beach rental

Very standard beach rental, house had musty smell that cleared out over time, seemed hot water tank was in vacation mode first day showers were cold, otherwise some disrepair but a good place to stay, unfortunately we picked a cloudy cool week to stay but were locked in. Great view of the beach, don't bring an extra car unless it is small.

Perfect area to stay with ocean front

The townhouse was perfect with accommodating 8 adults. Had everything we needed. I do wish the 2 splash pools were one real pool. Thats my only suggestion. The water in the splash pool was hot and not inviting. However, being able to walk right out to the ocean was amazing!

Great BEACH FRONT Location, Big Open space

Location is ideal, there are amenities within walking distance, walk to John's pass on the beach from this location. Property is fairly large and open, the 4 bedrooms of good size, note the double bed in the upper level is a murphy bed (comfortable) but the sliding doors do not lend too much privacy and is the smallest bedroom. We found all things in working order and clean. Towels and bedding are good. The kitchen is well stocked. There is parking for 2 cars( 3 cars will be tight) , but note they are one in front of the other, backing out is a little tricky just due to the traffic on the roadway. Other reviews criticism about the dating of the furnishing is well documented and true, however, they are all functional but could use updating. If you’re considering this location I assume it is because you are choosing to spend time outside on the beach, the outdoor furniture is not great. There are two high tables, one on the lower deck( 4 chairs) and one outside the main floor balcony ( 2 Chairs). There are some chairs for the beach, but they are either “well used” or kind of gross. Choices for outdoor beach chair is portable folding chairs (soccer sidelines) and a couple of low end beach chairs, there are no loungers or fully reclining beach chairs, this seems to be a blind spot for a beachfront. We would consider rent again, but would 1st look for a property with better outdoor furniture.

I would put a better description of what type of beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. We brought our own stuff, but then didn’t need it. Since we flew in it could’ve saved us from bringing excessive luggage. Thank you the place was great.

Admirals Townhouse: A Great Place to Vacation

Wonderful place to stay. Bright and cheerful. Clean. Direct beach access and small pool on property worked wonderfully with small grandkids who had varying nap times. My brother-in-law's family rented the other half of the Townhouse which made it the perfect extended family vacation!

Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this beach property! The location truly couldn’t have been better—just steps from the sand with beautiful views and easy access to everything we needed. The home itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made settling in a breeze.One small note: the listing featured pictures of a paddle board, kayak, and a neatly organized selection of beach toys and gear in the storage area under the porch. While there were still beach chairs and a few floats available, the storage was a bit disorganized—likely due to lingering effects from last year’s storm damage. It wasn’t a major issue, but it’s worth mentioning in case future guests are expecting those exact amenities as shown.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return. The cleanliness and unbeatable location more than made up for the minor discrepancy in beach gear.
