Your own private beachfront two-bedroom cottage with stunning Gulf of Mexico views. Step out of your cottage and onto the sand! Heated/chilled pool, private patio with retractable awning, lush landscape walkway, beach loungers, and located in an ideal area within walking distance to several great local spots and shops. The Yachtsman is like your very own beach home! It's a one-story freestanding cottage nestled in between tropical lush landscapes. It's beachfront, open, airy, and nautically decorated with beautiful ocean and sunset views from the kitchen and living spaces. The cottage was built in the '50s and though it has been renovated, it still holds that great Florida charm with beautiful wooden ceilings and built-in cabinets!
**Attention: September 10th, 2025, Pinellas County began an important beach nourishment project. The project is scheduled out per each City and they have listed open and closed beach access points while they work on the project. Their projected dates are as follows:
Indian Rocks Beach: October – December 2025
Please understand that this schedule is out of our control and that noise can be expected while work is ongoing. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this causes, and we appreciate your understanding as the county helps to improve our beaches after the 2024 hurricanes.**
Kitchen: Full kitchen equipped with a refrigerator/freezer combo, electric stove/oven, microwave, blender, and drip coffee maker. Basic dishes, cookware, and utensils are also provided. Basic spices, cooking oil, coffee filters, and/or pods are not always available.
Dining: Nestled between the living room and the kitchen. The dining table sits up to 6 guests
Living Area: Large living area with room for entertaining, plenty of seating, and a flat-screen TV. A queen sleeper sofa with a memory gel mattress is in the extra living space with a door that leads to your patio with pavers that face the Gulf.
Bedrooms #1 & #2: Each bedroom has a Queen bed, ceiling fan, dresser space, and a small TV. All linens are provided.
Bathroom: Vanity, toilet, and a standing shower. No tub.
Outdoors: On your private patio you will find a six-person dining set and retractable awning. The Arbors resort has four separate cottages, five total, and has a shared heated and chilled pool, outdoor dining table for each cottage, towel stands for your beach and swim gear, shared free onsite laundry, shuffleboards, private beachfront area, two shared gas grills and mature lush landscape truly giving a unique vacation experience. We have frequent guests who come with extended family to celebrate anniversaries, weddings, family reunions, and holidays. Guests can stay in separate cottages but share the outdoor living spaces. Some large groups prefer to rent the entire complex under "Arbors Seaside Cottages Complex"- this way it can sleep up to thirty guests.
*The covered pavilion area is reserved for Beach Lodge guests only.

Important Information:
House Rules:
1. No smoking/vaping in the unit. No illegal substances on the premises. Violation of this policy will result in a smoke remediation fee ranging from $200-$500 depending on the severity.
2. No parties or events.
3. No unauthorized pets. Please notify management of any service animals.
4. You are vacationing in a residential area, please be mindful of noise during all hours. Quiet hours start at 10pm and you must adhere to the local noise ordinance.
Renting Requirement Policy: The guest booking the reservation must occupy the unit for the duration of the stay and is required to be 25 years of age minimum. Adults may not rent a unit for anyone under the age of 25, they must be actively present at the rental unit.
Maximum Guest Occupancy Policy: Adherence to occupancy policies and limits is strictly enforced. The guest count may not exceed the maximum guest occupancy at any point in time, including any pre-approved day guests. These policies are in place for your safety and the protection of the vacation home and the vacation rental industry. Violation of these policies may result in immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all monies paid. Please contact management to request a pre-approval for any day guests. Additional guests that will exceed the maximum occupancy will automatically be denied.
Pet Policy: We can accept 1-2 small dogs ONLY that weigh 35 pounds or less in this rental. A non-refundable pet fee of $175 + tax per pet is required. Cats are not allowed. Requests for larger dogs must be submitted and approved by management. Pet must be on a leash at all times when outside of the unit; is not allowed onto the furniture, sand, beach, pool area, or pool. Pet must not bother any surrounding guests and pet waste MUST be picked up by the pet owner.
Pool Heating: When the pool heater is turned on, the temperature is typically set to 85 degrees unless otherwise stated in the listing. Please understand that when outside temperatures reach 60 degrees or lower a pool heater cannot always heat the pool to temperature.
Toiletries: Guests should bring their own toiletries, dishwasher pods, and laundry pods. Each unit will have two rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom, soap for every sink, a trash bag, and at least one roll of paper towels in the kitchen. 2 dishwasher pods and 2 laundry pods are also provided if applicable to the rental. We provide one set of bath towels per guest. For guest convenience, we also provide beach towels.
Parking: This unit has 1 reserved parking space. Guest parking is limited to 1-2 cars on the shuffleboard, first come first serve.

It is conveniently located down the street from Guilty Sea Sports Pub, and VIP Mexican. You will also find the following places within walking distance: JD's Restaurant & Bar, Jimmy Guana's, PJ's Oyster House, Jake's Cantina, Crabby Bills, Pipo N Betty's Bakery, and an Ice Cream shop with over 100 flavors. Also within walking distance are some local beach shops including beach rentals. There is also a CVS and a post office located close to Crabby Bills. For the kids and kids at heart, there's a small waterpark located nearby.
The surrounding local area has some great day trips as well: Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo featuring holiday lights late Nov-Jan,1st, John's Pass Village and Boardwalk, Tampa Lowry Zoo, Florida Aquarium, Clearwater Aquarium, Sunken Gardens, Dinosaur World, Ellenton Outlet Malls, Children's Museums, enjoy a Tampa Bay Ray's game at Tropicana Field, a Buccaneers Football game in Tampa, or check out some of the pro baseball teams during their local Spring Training, also Disney World and downtown Disney is just two hours away.
