CoastAway at St Simons Island

CoastAway is a condo within Gascoigne, a beloved neighborhood on the west side of St Simons Island. Just 2.5 miles from great free beach access, our condo also places you within easy drives to shops, dining, outdoor activities, golf, and the causeway to Brunswick. Ideal for 1-5 persons with its 2 king bedrooms, twin pullout, and 1.5 baths. We constantly look for new ways to update features, from streaming TVs (3 Roku's with many streaming platforms) to coffee extras and an electric fireplace. Think of CoastAway as a cozy, inviting, relaxing space at an affordable and accessible cost so that you can splurge more on your SSI experiences.

We have stayed at this property before (different u it nu.ber). The resident take such great care of this area. The owners of unit 71 are fantastic and quick ro respond. The house is clean and well equipped. We just needed a quick get away for the weekend. This place is close to everything.

Quick Anniversary Getaway

The condo was absolutely lovely. Everything was pristine clean. We really enjoyed our time. We love St. Simons. So many great places to eat, easy walking, beaches, biking, just great fun. This place made it all even better. Perfect for couples IMO.

Gorgeous condo at great location!

It is a clean and beautiful condo, with the location a close drive to the Lighthouse and great restaurants. Easy check-in and out, plus clear and prompt communication with the owner. Everything is perfect! I highly recommend this place to check out St Simon Island.

Cozy Cottage

The cottage was great with updated appliances, nice layout and stocked with 90% of the items I found myself needing. The host were very gracious and replied to messages in a timely manner. Would highly recommend this rental for a vacation getaway on SSI

Great little cottage

It was only me staying there for the three nights, however it would be comfortable for two couples. I’ve been to Saint Simons and jackal many times and have absolutely nothing negative to say about this property. It’s right at the end of the causeway so it’s convenient to Brunswick Jekyll and Saint Simons anywhere you may be wishing to go. The worst thing I can say is a few things such as lamps and vanities are a little dated. That said I don’t believe I’ve ever stayed in a vacation rental that that’s not the case. I would happily stay here again.

Hospitality Plus

My trip was for a brief respite after a long two weeks of business meetings. The chance to connect with friends and spend time at the beach. I'm grateful for the warm welcome I received long before the stay was initiated. The property is beautiful and all of the comforts of home were considered. I loved its proximity to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Two additional friends joined us and everyone slept comfortably. Our entry and exit from the property was seamless. I appreciate all that the hospitality of our hosts and the property offered during the stay.
