  • Hodnett Cooper presents this two-bedroom, two-bath courtyard view condominium located at the St. Simons Beach Club.

    Beautifully landscaped grounds feature stately oaks canopying the gated entrance, tropical foliage embellishing the courtyard, and a large beachfront lawn. | | In the heart of the St. Simons Beach Club there is a large oceanfront swimming pool, separate children's pool, and two secluded hot-tubs. Additional amenities include direct beach access, barbecue grills, and a tennis court, as well as a fitness, and business center.

    All residences include a fully-equipped kitchen, private balcony, and combined living and dining area. Beach Club #117 features complimentary in-room high speed internet service and updated appliances. Additionally, this residence features an expanded balcony overlooking the courtyard with a partial view of the ocean.

Great communication, good location, and clean. Kitchen, bathrooms, and furniture were very outdated with lots of cosmetic and functional defects. While most everything "worked", there were lots of defects such as: torn furniture, shower door not closing completely, lamp light bulb base not secure, kitchen cabinet liners were paper towels. The pool and beach were fantastic. Overall, clean and good communication but the condo desperately needs to be updated.

The furniture was outdated, rather worn and needing replacing, The recliners had the covering peeling off in large hunks and the twin room spreads had small holes from worn and stains on the outside. The master bedroom bed was hard and lumpy, needing replacing, First off we had no ac for about 4 hours, due to the unit being frozen up. No one in the front lobby was very nice about which way our room was, He acted like it was a bother to explain which direction our room was located.

First time visit to SSI

Older condo complex; the grounds were well maintained; very secure gated entrance and beach access; parking is a little tight for a larger van; distance to the ocean is further than it appears and you must cross on foot an area of hit and miss wet land; beach is hard packed, not soft and sandy. There is a public beach park 0.3 mi. from the complex that has a nice handicapped accessible entrance, restrooms, and soft sandy beach area. Communication with the management company was good.

Exactly what we needed.

The Beach Club on St. Simons was perfect for our quick little fall break getaway. St. Simons is only about a 5-hour drive from where we live. The unit was clean and comfy. The grounds are beautiful and the amenities are great. My son loved the weight room and used it three days in a row. A little heads up about St. Simopns dining though. Although there are numerous great places to eat, parking EVERYWHERE is at a premium. If you want to be able to park and not wait for an hour or longer for a table, it's best to plan on being where you want to be by 5 PM each night. Any later? Good luck.

Nice Getaway

The apartment is clean, but outdated. The couch, and chairs were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Wireless service was intermittent at best. Our kids enjoyed riding their bikes around the island, and we enjoyed walks on the beach. SSI is always a treat!

Beautiful Island

We enjoyed our stay very much. The parking was not fantastic because of the small spaces in the garage (witnessed many doors banging against vehicles due to space), but the property and condo itself were very nice. Thank you for a beautiful week.
