We liked the location and view! The unit was not cleaned very well, not much hot water pressure, kitchen needs remodeling, new pots and pans! Could be a nice unit if updates are made!

Very nice ocean view. The place was in desperate need of renovations. The stove top was rusted and very old, toaster didn't work, blender was broken and wasn't replaced until the next day. 1 restaurant that didn't open until 5:30 pm and was closed on Wednesday.

Not a good stay overall.

No communication from property management despite several issues with bedding and bugs, lack of power and lack of hot water,, cleanliness issues, power went out several times causing no hot water Inability to charge devices the night before plane took off. Not a good day wouldn’t recommend this property.

Perfect home base

Great location

Perfect spot on Bolongo Bay. Beautiful view! One good restaurant Iggys near by. Did not care for Meme’s on the property. Ferry to St John’s 15 minutes away.

Hidden gem

This property was well stocked, with beach towels, beach chairs etc. Plenty of air conditioning and a gorgeous ocean view.There are some updates and minor repairs that needs to be done to some of the rooms, other than that, we had no complaints.

Wonderful location!

The property was perfect for four people, two adult children and two parents. It was wonderful to have two bathrooms. The kitchen is rather narrow, but it had everything we needed. The main room is comfortable and includes a seating area, nice tv and a dining area. The large balcony is wonderful!! The view is so lovely and the sound of the seashore is like magic. There are two doors to the balcony, one from the master bedroom and one from the family room. The owners have a table with four chairs, a lounge chair and another chair. There are two nice restaurants within walking distance. The is a washer and dryer near the office and you buy two tokens from the office. Bring some detergent and $5 cash for the tokens. Most of the property was clean, but I needed to clean the master bathroom sink area. The floor mats were not as clean as I like, either. Overall, I would definitely recommend the property!! Thank you for a lovely stay!!

EXCELLENT LOCATION!

Will definitely be staying there again! Love the ability to have dinner with in walking distance and Mim's food and staff are amazing as well as Iggie's for breakfast lunch and dinner! Easy access to get a taxi and not to far from a grocery store.

Sleeping and Waking To The Sound Of The Ocean

The property and the condo were very clean, comfortable, accommodating and convient to Bolongo beach. It is not morre than a 15-minute cab ride to several beautiful beaches, as well as the local area hot spots for restaurants like Red Hook, Charlotte Amalie and Havensight. The condo was well-equipped with beach provisions like chairs, towels, a cooler, etc. The highlight for us was that awesome ocean breeze we enjoyed every night and day.

Bolongo Bay

We stayed for 5 days at this little condo and it's in a really great location! You can drive to just about anywhere on the island within 20-25 minutes or less. The view from the balcony is stunning and Mim's Restaurant and Iggy's Bar are literally within walking distance. However, it desperately needs some attention. We couldn't really use the screen doors because the were warped and wouldn't stay on the tracks, couldn't turn off the kitchen light due to some kind of electrical issue and there's water under the tiles in the kitchen area and between the bottom layers of the master bath in the tub. We found out about a week or two before we were leaving that the pool would be closed for maintenance, and although that wasn't ideal, the property manager informed us and comped us some money from our stay. With a little work this condo would be perfect! (Side note- there is a little beach near the condo to walk into the water, but swimming really isn't an option. There's a break wall along almost the entire beachfront with lots of rocks)

Affordability with a view

The unit was as expected. We have stayed at Watergate Villa's in the past in other units so we knew what to expect Scott was easy to work with sent some suggestions on what to do restaurants ect. The unit it's self needed a little TLC it was showing its wear. Had lots of dishes only thing missing was cereal bowls. Had plenty of pots and pans to make a meal some diffently could use replacing. The unit had incredible views and perfect if your looking for a affordable place. Beware the beach was washed during back to back hurricanes in 2017 but you can use the beach next door as all beaches have are public. Would we stay again yes diffently.

Great Location

We loved our recent stay in STT. Great location between Charlotte and Redhook, because we like to do a lot of exploring on the island. The list was what it said, 2 bed 2 bath with a pullout sleeper. The pullout was not very comfy but a teen boy will sleep anywhere. We loved the balcony and the view! The property looks to be under new management as there were several improvements being made but nothing was loud or intrusive. Overall great area and awesome view.

Perfect Location

We loved the location of this condo. Hard to get a cab there so I would recommend renting a car. We ate on site which was delicious. We then found places in a nearby town - must eat is RAW Sushi - the Penne Italian place was the best too! The images online do show the condo as is. The beds were sorry to say hard as a rock and we were sore for a few hours upon waking but that is a small price to pay for the view from the room. I noticed lots of dust which showed me some areas of the condo are not COVID cleaned. I just brought my own sanitizer spray and disinfected the entire condo before we entered. The master tub has water trapped between the floor and the tub so it feels like a waterbed when you step on it - do not have 2 drinks then try to shower - use the guest shower - you will think the whole condo is blowing in the wind. NOTE: the W/D is NOT inside the condo it is by the office - you have to buy tokens and only during set times which we always missed but the owners did drop us towels when we inquired how to do laundry on a weekend since the office was closed. Since COVID you can NOT eat at the other Bolongolo Bay restaurant - they will not allow it as it does say you can in the condo listing as they are doing their guests only for contact tracing. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would stay in the same complex again. Make sure to hit up a dive shop to purchase your own gear and check out the reef right below the units!

The view was amazing. The room and property not so much. The kitchen had a smell that wouldn’t go away. The floor tiles were broken and moved throughout the rental. The main bathroom bathtub had water between the base and the floor so when you were in the shower the floor moved and you couldn’t stand up properly. Even with all the rental issues the stay was memorable.

Unbelievable view

This view can’t be topped!! Lay out was perfect for our family that the 2 beds in 2nd room where doubles. Had all supplies needed. Only complaint is the AC never worked in the living room the entire time we were there. Called owner and repair people weren’t there for 3 more days which turned out to be the day we left. AC in both bedrooms was amazing thank goodness. Overall good stay.

Simple but nice condo in a good location

The view was fantastic and close to a small beach. It was clean and had plenty of towels, however the kitchen needs to be restocked. Glasses, knives, cutting board and pots. We ate most of our meals out but had our breakfast at the condo.

Breathtaking View, Spacious, Safe & Excellent Location!

Let me first start off by saying that the view of this property can't be beat for the price. I was born and raised on St. Thomas VI and am familiar with this location. It is a super safe neighborhood that is centrally located. The building itself has cameras & staff that monitor the area. BOOKING: Booking this property was a breeze. Scott responded to my inquiries that I had before hand and accommodated accordingly. CHECK-IN: Scott provides detailed driving directions for this property which is helpful to someone not familiar with the island. I would recommend renting a car as driving on St. Thomas is easy (although we drive on the left). I rented my vehicle. I arrived at the property two hours prior to the 4pm check-in time and was able to type in the code provided by Scott and enter the property with no issue. CONDITION OF PROPERTY: When I walked through the front door my eyes were drawn toward the dou le glass doors. I could see the gorgeous crystal blue waters with waves thrashing against the rocks. Two coconut trees were moving from side-to-side from the tropical breeze. LIVING ROOM/DINING ROOM The living room had white wicker furniture with floral tropical accents. It is perfect decor for the property. The living room/dining room is super spacious. I enjoyed just sitting in the living room with the AC off and enjoyed hearing the waves and natural breeze. KITCHEN: The kitchen is as shown in the photos. It is a galley kitchen with everything that you need to make a meal. My sister even visited and baked "dumb bread" from scratch. Although the kitchen could use updating, it has everything you need from utensils to paper towels, broom, dust pan, mop, dish soap, pots, pans, and a full size refrigerator. I also loved opening the window in the kitchen and speaking the my family while they enjoyed the breeze on the large porch. Scott recommended downloading the "island direct" app. in which I did. The app did not offer grocery delivery but dis offer restaurant delivery. I ordered from the app. and it was perfect. I recommend trying the best pizza on the island through the app. which is "Pizza Amore".BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: The bathrooms are small and could use some updating. Who spends their vacay in the bathroom. Bedrooms are very spacious. There is a full size closet, a safe with a key, hangers, & plenty of towels. The master has glass doors in which I opened to enjoy the natural breeze and sound of the waves at night. Great Vacay!
