"The Adge was perfect for our one-night stay, but we probably wouldn't have enjoyed a long stay. The Good: Price was very competitive for the area, very clean, fun decor, spacious room, comfortable bed, great lighting in all areas of room; good electrical outlet locations, lots of surfaces to set luggage on; the 2 younger desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The Less Good: automated text to me implied help would be on stand-by, but when I texted to ask about getting ice, I never heard a word back - seems like something a hotel should make available or at least answer; room key inserted by door starts electricity, which means our room was so hot when we arrived & took a while to cool off, & had to do over; made a point to reserve balcony room, but there was nothing out there to sit on!!!!; another Sydney hotel provided an electric converter in the room, but none here; only 1 of 2 elevators to our section seemed to be working; the trash can in the bathroom was 8" diameter with a foot pedal - not at all useful in the bathroom."

"Good hotel, however if your partner is in the bathroom there is no mirror to do makeup and hair. You can sit on the floor at the long mirror to do your make up, but no plug to do hair, so sit at the table where there is a plug but no mirror, or wait an eternity until the bathroom is free. Obviously designed by a man "

"Booked late after a last minute change of work plans, and found this within budget. Absolutely exceeded expectations. Room on 6th Floor (an upgrade) was great. Spacious, well appointed, comfortable bed and - the standout - very nice effective black blinds. Slept perfectly. Gym was good, but busier than other cdb hotels I use regularly. Pool nice, sauna was out of order. Got a couple of drinks vouchers through hotels.com Silver status and was able to use the m in the Brewery next door. Massive bonus, that. Good atmosphere, better than a regular hotel bar. Great grilled fish too. Will stay again when available."
