We spent two weeks at the end of August with six adults and two children in beautiful Norway. This cabin is neither located on a (high) mountain, nor is it a villa, and it is certainly not luxurious.Cleanliness & amenities:This accommodation was not as clean as you would expect from a vacation home. The windows, kitchen shelves, and drawers were dirty. Not just uncleaned once, but uncleaned for months, as can be seen, for example, in the cutlery drawers. The mirror, washing machine, and dryer in the bathroom were dirty. The cushions on the sofas were stained and dirty. Some of the kitchen utensils were rusty and there weren't enough for larger groups. The beds are very small for people over 1.80 meters tall. The cabin has one toilet in one bathroom. It was cramped with 6 adults.There is also almost no storage space for clothes and equipment. The garden furniture on the terrace was old and stained.Location and view:The cabin is in a beautiful location, situated in a small cabin park (Mjosli). The view is as shown in the pictures, with a different sky every evening.The forest is close. The house does not have a garden, only a wide terrace. The pictures show a trampoline and a public playground, which is about a 5-minute walk from the cabin.We told the host about our concerns and asked for a refund of the cleaning fees.He replied very kindly that he didn't care.
