The man that owns the place was born and raised in an animal loving family and his respect and love for the animals show through his interactions and knowledge. You can schedule a behind the scenes tour of the zoo if you call ahead. During this tour I was able to pet a porcupine, feeds goats, feed bananas to a lemur, and feed the tiger pictured.
