“We stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful house right on the beach. Our children (6,9,11) loved going outside the back door and playing in the water, the sand, and lounging in the hammock. The water is pretty shallow a good ways out and the waves are gently. There are beach toys and snorkel gear available as well as a boat and life jackets.This private beach access is hard to beat. “This house was just as described. It was beautiful and felt like home! Having no AC was no issue at all. The breeze sweeps through the house and keeps it cool and there are fans in each room. The deck was great. We saw dolphins and manatees. We really enjoyed floating in the water right off the dock and watching the beautiful sun sets. “Absolutely a beautiful property and AS ADVERTISED! The location is key- close enough to many great restaurants and bars but far enough for the seclusion we desired for our honeymoon. We used it all: kayaks, paddle boards, bikes and all were in good working order. This house really was everything you need in Placencia. Kitchen is fully equipped. We had an in-home chef make a meal one night and they were able to do it all without needing to bring anything but the food. The AC blows cold, deck……
