Primrose Garden Room Bed & Breakfast Hocking Hills Ohio between Logan and Athens

"Room was clean except for slight mold on shower caulking.Parking was a little tight and could use better instructions on how to park as I ended up semi blocking the Garage door. The host at breakfast was somewhat disappointing with poor attitude and sarcastic. Breakfast was ok but could stand to be improved. Online listing had disconnected numbers and said we would get a voucher for breakfast or lunch but we were offered a 10% at Hungry Hikers diner but instead offered food at Primrose house. Power was out when we checked in however it was on after we went to dinner. Cute property and pretty quiet."

"We loved the amount of room in the house. Its an older home with natural wood throughout and nicely updated bathrooms. Windows are older and 2 of the rooms dont have shades, only curtains that didnt always block out street lights. We appreciated that the Neighborhood was quiet. We were disappointed and inconvenienced by the dryer not drying. The yard had long grass that was definately in need of mowing. The long private driveway was nice. There was nice living spaces for 4-8 people. We needed to purchase spices, olive oil for meal prep and we had to use bathroom towels for use in kitchen. Refrigerator and freezer worked well. Stronger water pressure in Full Bathroom shower would’ve been nicer but it was adequate. All said-it was a nice place for visiting Hocking Hills. Be prepared to get take out meals from Logan or make your own food-not many restaurant choices in Nelsonville. We appreciated the subtle decor of house. The mattresses and pillows were good (but not luxury). We would rent this again if in the area. Thanks"

"The history of the house is apparent and beautiful! We stayed in July so the Nelsonville air was hot and still. The air conditioner was very effective, even too cold at times but there was no thermostat that I could locate and it was a on a pre-programmed schedule making the house comfortable the majority of the time.We love the full kitchen that enabled us the bring food to cook. A large cast iron skillet provided the perfect vessel to roast a whole chicken.This house is perfect to walk to Stuart's Opera House."

"The house was historic with some of the same character. My room was small with an attached bathroom that may have been a closet before. I believe there were six rooms. Parking is easy neighborhoods is quite.Dining room has four or five tables. Only one bedroom on first floor. I would stay there again."
