"The other guests were unbelievably loud and the walls felt paper-thin, I could hear the TV in the room next to ours well into 2 AM. The bed creaked loudly at the smallest movement, the suitcase stand was so wobbly it was hard to put our luggage on it; and the Internet was frustratingly slow, the kind of WiFi speed you would get at a three star hotel 15 years ago.
The elevator rattled an awful lot and made a lot of unpleasant noise. Parking in the front was very limited and while there was a lot of parking in the back it didn't feel very safe, it was a bit isolated.
This is the dumpiest Doubletree I've stayed at, I was surprised at the poor condition of the hotel. The area is also not very nice, have to drive everywhere and it doesn't feel like the safest place compared to other Doubletrees I have stayed at.
The lobby was very pretty, the staff was helpful and nice, the room and bathroom were clean, but unfortunately it doesn't make up for the poor conditions of the hotel and room. Once the people next door turned off their TV at 2 AM I was able to have a decent night of sleep as long as I didn't move around too much. All in all, just an "OK" experience, I would definitely not stay here again.
Highly recommend Boro Cafe nearby for coffee and pastries, Melting Pot for a romantic meal, and Harvest about 15 minutes north in PA for a great farm-to-table experience."
"The Good-
The staff -very polite and helpful
Quiet
Amenities inside the room
The breakfast that is served
The Bad-
The bathroom sink was stuffed couldn’t wash your hands without it almost overflowing
The decor was very dated
The overall feel of the room was dirty
Hence the washing of hands all the time
The ADA room was not real Good for people traveling in a wheelchair
Overall for a quick stopover it wasn’t that bad and at reasonable price "
"Sorry this is not a place I would ever stay again. You smell smoke immediately when you enter the building. The carpet in the hallway so very dirty. The room let out couch and furniture had stains all over it. Outside in the back where I parked to get to my room smelled just like trash it was terrible. "
