“What a great "stay" enough room for 2 people or 2 couples and our dogs. The back yard is fenced in. It is freshly remodeled. High ceilings with the most beautiful pine wood. A very modern up to date look. On a dead end road with a few older smaller homes and right next to the Trinidad University. Absolutely quiet area. Also, right next to I-25 and a few minutes from downtown shopping and eating. I loved the complementary doggy bowls under the kitchen island welcoming our pets.”

The scenery while hiking the trails, and the view of the Spanish peaks from the cabin were beautiful! It's obvious that a lot of love has gone into the upkeep of this property. We couldn't recommend it more!”

“This was an ideal stop for our whole family as we travelled through Raton headed to Yellowstone! House was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed! We sat on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful view and lovely weather. The beds were comfy and the house was very well maintained. We had plenty of towels and kitchen items. If you are traveling through Raton, you could not find a better place for your family!”

“We loved staying here and know we will come again. Just a few suggestions: the cooktop was really dirty! The bathroom rugs didn’t look too clean, could use more towels and washcloths, the bath mat in the tub didn’t look too sanitary, there was a carton of eggs in the refrigerator that held empty shells that looked pretty gross. We loved the swing on the front porch, so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you.”

“Cabin was as described. The owner was very helpful and gave advice for fishing and activities in the area. The land where the cabin is located is fairly remote and has beautiful views of the Spanish Peaks. Enjoyed being away from the city and would love to visit again.”

“Enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay while passing through on our way to ski. Good communication from host. Management was attentive with sending maintenance over quickly when a toilet clogged and no plunger was available. ”

“Great place to stay. The rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast is served from a menu plus all the normal cereals etc. There is a nice patio with a good Mountain View. Only 2 minor issues 1) the rooms do not have any USB ports. 2) the pool wasn’t as clean as I like, but it was near the end of the day after a holiday weekend. It is large and warm. If you forgot to pack something, there is a Walmart next door. Also easy on/off from I25. ”
