We reserved this lodge for a two-day family gathering to honor my 97-year-old mama, and it was absolutely the right choice. From the moment we arrived, we were able to simply settle in and enjoy being together. We cooked, relaxed, explored Happy Valley, laughed a lot, watched Fourth of July fireworks sparkle across the valley, and even enjoyed the drama of a summer storm rolling through the mountains. We made memories we'll carry for a long time. The hosts have truly thought of everything. One thing we especially appreciated was the kitchen. If your family enjoys cooking together, you'll love it. It's exceptionally well appointed, with quality pots and pans, sharp knives, and all the appliances and serving pieces we needed to prepare meals for a large group. It made cooking together feel like part of the fun instead of a chore. The lodge is beautiful, the views are incredible, and there was plenty of room for our whole family to spread out while still feeling connected. If you're bringing together a large group of people you love, book this place. It was the perfect setting for celebrating a life well lived and making new memories with the people who matter most.
