“Very clean and well maintained!”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. Nearby in Winder there are some really great local places to go.We all liked the mix of older farm house charm with the more modern decor and remodel. I would recommend to my friends and would also stay here again.”

“The Hive is a great place to stay and location is very convenient for events in Athens, Ga. and other towns nearby. Laura, the host, responds quickly when you have questions. We will definitely be using the Hive the next time we are able to come to the area.”

“If you are physically challenged or a senior citizen, this is not for you. You park off the driveway. Then walk across the lawn with a grade, then walk about a 30 yard path on uneven 1’ pavers, careful not to stumble;there is a 6’ drop into the neighbors yard. You are offered to park on the street. During my four days I never noticed any other car parked on the street; worried someone would drive up the rise of the street and then be greeted with my car.”

“Fran’s home is beautiful, very spacious, tastefully decorated and everything we needed for our stay.”

“Everything was amazing.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the cottage as we awaited closing on our new home in Georgia. The accommodations were clean and every detail was carefully curated. It was quiet, relaxing and we enjoyed seeing the deer stroll through the property each day. The host was very quick in responding to any questions we had and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the cottage to other travelers. We especially loved the fresh eggs in the refrigerator and chocolate chip cookies from the local farm stand. You’re……

“Perfect spot to go back and forth to campus. Very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again.”

“The studio is perfect. We stayed with our dog, and they had a water bowl out for him and everything. The fenced yard was so convenient and sure beats having to get dressed, go down the elevator, and take your dog on a walk outside a hotel first thing in the morning. We’ll be back!”

“This is a really cool, unique property. It’s a former industrial building turned into a living space. Check in and communication with owner was excellent The linens were luxurious. There is a coffee spot nearby and we discovered frose (frozen wine) just a few steps away.”

“Not as described: This property does not sleep eight. Our family of five stayed at this property for three nights during our tour of UGA. The hostess was welcoming and communicative. The property was quiet. However, it was not well-appointed—it lacked utensils (just five spoons) dishes (no glass bowls, a few worn plastic ones), no pot holders, no baking sheet. The tub was cracked, the shower faucet was broken (we had to call to have this fixed as there were five of us using one shower). The……

“What a fabulous house! Our group was just in town for one night for a wedding, but had we known about this jewel, we would have planned to come a day or two earlier or stay a day or two later. The house was beautiful, convenient, and so comfortable. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would!”

“Host was very accommodating and everything was as described. We appreciated the fresh eggs, water and condiments that were provided. Wanted a unique place and that is exactly what we got. Host provides a lot of information and check in and check out could not have been easier. Thank you so much.”

“Everything was perfect! The host took care of everything and made the check in process simple. And they provided us with all the essentials. Finding a nice property within walking distance of Sanford Stadium that is reasonably priced is hard to find. I’d definitely stay here again!”

“Great place in proximity to EVERYTHING! Will be back often.”

“Great spot, quiet and clean. Would stay here again”

“A brilliant place to stay, Great location & great service. Go dawgs”

“Nice, cozy, comfortable home in close proximity to Athens, GA where we were attending a wedding. Nicely appointed with updated features. Very close to downtown Jefferson. Owner was very responsive to questions.”
