Welcome to The West 3324, by Mountain Vacation Lodging, offers comfort, quality, and convenience. This 2 bedroom plus loft condo is beautifully remodeled and located just steps from the ski slopes. You'll enjoy panoramic views, modern finishes, a spacious living area, and a host of premium amenities for an elevated mountain experience. After a day full of fun, this home is the perfect place to relax and rest while you plan your next activity. Please read on for property details.

The Property:
The entry has a bench and cubbies for storage of your gear. A half flight of stairs up brings you to the living room, which features vaulted ceilings and large windows that fill the space with natural light. Relax in comfort with inviting furniture, a cozy fireplace, and a large HDTV. Be sure to step onto the deck, where the fresh mountain air really complements the stunning views. In the kitchen you'll find fingerprint-less appliances, granite countertops, and beautiful wood cabinets. It is fully equipped and the open layout provides added convenience. The dining room table accommodates six, and the lovely chandelier offers ample lighting.

From the entry, it's a half flight of stairs down to the lower level, where you will find bedrooms 1 and 2. Bedroom 1 has a Queen sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. This largest bedroom also includes a ceiling fan, TV, and the views from the large bank of windows. Bedroom 2 features two Twin size beds, a TV, and a window with scenic views. The second bathroom is also here on the lower level, adjacent to bedroom 2. This makes the bathroom easily accessible for groups who are making use of the sleeper sofa. Bedroom 3 is a loft style bedroom, one flight up from the main level. It does not have a door and does have an open window that overlooks the living room, but it is all by itself on the upper level. It includes a Queen size bed as well as its own full bathroom. The ceiling fan and windows offer a refreshing breeze to cool things down.

Location:
The West is right in the heart of the base area, within easy walking distance of everything, and literally across the street from Gondola Square. You can walk to both Gondolas, ski school, the ticket office, the ice rink, restaurants, bars, ski & snowboard rentals, even a small grocery store. The base area is host to lots of activities and events, and all of it is right out your door. There are also shuttles available to and from the airports, the hot springs, snowmobiling and sleigh ride adventures, so guests who stay here in the ski season really don't need a car. If you're coming in the summer, you might want a car for heading to the area's state parks, national forest trailheads, or 3 wilderness areas. However, The Gondola Transit Center is right across the street, so Steamboat's year round free bus gives you yet another option for getting around town. Also, with warmer weather, you might prefer to walk, stroll, jog or bike, and you can do so right from the condo. The Mt Werner Trail is right across the street, and leads right to the Yampa River Core Trail, which follows the river to and through downtown. Of course you can also head right into the national forest via the Steamboat Resort trails, or ride the Gondola up and hike around from the top. With so many options, and such a great location, once you get here, you'll probably want to extend your stay.

– Accessing the property: The condo is located on the top floor and requires climbing one and a half flights of stairs to reach the front door.
– Parking: It is an open lot with 2 parking passes available for guests of this unit. Sorry, but trailers, RVs / campers are prohibited. Additional parking may be available during lower occupancy periods, seasonally or nearby. Please contact us if you have any questions.
– 4WD vehicle information:The roads to this property are maintained. However, please note that your route to the area may include a mountain pass. The roads in Steamboat which lead to and from this property are generally easy to navigate and well maintained. When traveling during snow and winter weather conditions, 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive and tires with good tread are recommended.

** Two music festivals typically takes place in the Knoll parking lot below this condo. The MusicFest, a mostly country music festival lovingly referred to as "Texas Week" typically takes place in early January, following the New Years holiday. Winter Wondergrass is a bluegrass festival which typically takes place in the last week of February or the first week of March. If you're visiting these weeks, you might really love getting to listen to the music for free, having easy access to the music as well as your private condo, and / or watching the concerts from the comfort of your balcony. On the other hand, you might be bothered by the sound and commotion, which typically ends by around 10pm.
** Rental Agreements, Security Deposits, Rental Requirements - All hotels and rental properties have some rules and are subject to some amount of laws or regulations. Please look for and review any Rental Agreement terms, House Rules, and or Terms and Conditions presented during the online booking process. After booking, a Vacation Rental Agreement will be provided. All guests are required to sign the agreement within 72 hours of booking, and prior to occupying the property. There may be other requirements. For example, Guests may be required to provide additional information about the group that will occupy the property and or identification documents. Background checks may be performed, and in some areas are required by local law. A Minimum Age Requirement of 30 years or higher may apply. Guests may be required to provide a credit card and or a refundable security/damage deposit. We will be in touch after you book to gather additional information and to email you the rental agreement, which you can sign electronically - no printer required. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us before booking.
** Amenities - Some private or shared amenities may not be available for guest use during certain periods. Some amenities, when part of a property, may close daily, seasonally, or for maintenance. As such, all amenities can not be guaranteed to be available at all times. Please advise us when or before booking if you have questions about a specific property amenity so that we can give you the most accurate information possible for your dates.
** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. Please let us know if you have any concerns.
** Lengthy Rental Periods, Cancellation Policies, & Cleaning Fees - Long Term Rentals (28 nights or more) may be unacceptable under the standard cancellation policies listed online, which are designed to be only for short term rentals. Long Term Rentals must be discussed and approved prior to booking online. A long term rental / lease agreement may be required. A Security Deposit will be required for all long term rentals, and mid-stay cleaning(s) / inspection(s) may be required. Great Steamboat Snowboard Vacation!!!

Everything at this location was better than advertised. Great accommodations and the location to the mountain was incredible. The views from the condo are amazing!! Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful accommodations and location! The unit was ideal for our family - grandparents, parents and two young children. Living room kitchen area had ample space for us all to gather. Three bedrooms made varying bedtimes doable and loved having three baths!! The furnishings were sturdy and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and baths. Location was ideal! We easily walked to the Gondola for skiing, dinner, ice skating. We rented a car but the bus stop was very close. AND we had “front balcony” seats for Wondergrass festival!! We could enjoy the bands and watch the crowds from the comfort of the condo!!! Communication with the staff was always friendly and helpful. Though we managed just fine - note that you must climb two flights of stairs to enter the condo main floor. Two bedrooms are down a flight and one bedroom was up a flight. Great entertainment for 18 month old!
