Sweet Key Lime Cottage in Steinhatchee Landing Resort

It’s hard to find anything sweeter than a slice of Key Lime pie! And you will think you have found your sweet slice when you spend your vacation in the Key Lime Cottage!

As you enter the cottage, the comfortable screen porch on the front is the perfect place to have your morning coffee or afternoon beverage. As you enter the living room the vaulted ceiling gives the room an expansive open feeling.

With the Master bedroom on the ground floor and its adjoining bathroom, it is ideal for those who do not want to climb stairs. The Master bedroom offers a queen bed and a satellite TV. The master bath provides a large jetted tub and a separate walk-in shower.

The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen with seating for 6. The kitchen has state of the art stainless steel appliances and solid surface counter tops.

Upstairs is a large loft bedroom, offering a queen bed with a single trundle. Perfect for another couple or the kids. The second bath is adjoining the loft bedroom, with a large walk-in shower.

The cottage is just a short walk to the boat dock and petting zoo, and an easy walk to the pool, spa, exercise room and playground.

Steinhatchee Landing Resort is located on the Steinhatchee River, offering a number of various activities. Spend time on your boat, docking it at the resort dock offering about 22 boat slips available on a first-come, first-served basis, with plenty of parking in the resort for your boat trailer. If you would like to rent a boat, there a several marinas in town offering rentals. If you want to charter a boat and Captain, ask us or the Marinas and we can provide you with some options.

The resort provides many amenities: a large pool, Jacuzzi type spa, work-out area, tennis court and basketball court as well as a small petting zoo with goats, chickens and ducks.

Bring your bicycles or rent them at the local marina and ride around the resort and Steinhatchee. If peddling isn’t for you, golf carts are also for rent in the Hatch. We will be happy to provide information regarding golf cart rentals.

Come dinnertime, enjoy one of our restaurants in town, or cook your catch in the cottage or grill it on the charcoal grill in the back of the house. There is a nice area behind the cottage with several tables for eating outside if you wish.

Try your hand at tennis on the tennis courts, or throw some balls at the basketball court. There is also an archery area, equipment is available for a small fee. Ask us for info on renting the equipment.

After a hot day on the water, take a dip in the community pool or soak your muscles in the 9 person spa.

Don't forget to take the kids down by the river to the petting zoo. We have 2 goats, ducks, rabbits and chickens in the zoo area. That may be the highlight of the trip for the little ones!
