「I stayed here as a base for a retreat so I wanted something simple but comfortable enough. This fitted the bill. Beautiful views, a perfectly good breakfast, and a chapel within the hotel (which, in Assisi, if you’re there as a pilgrim or retreatant, is a very nice unexpected addition). It was a bit difficult to find because I followed the maps app instead of my instinct, but I would come back readily.」
