「Simple, cozy place with the essentials. I had no cell phone service, but they do have good wifi service. So you can still be connected if you choose to be, while being remote enough for a quiet, peaceful stay surrounded by nature. It was perfect as a homebase while exploring the UP. I would definitely stay again. 」

「This cabin was exactly what we wanted. Nestled inside the Hiawatha National Forest on the shores of beautiful Thunder Lake! The drive in is gorgeous!! We saw deer, turkeys, a couple rabbits and something we guessed was a weasel. The cabin was so comfortable, furnished with absolutely everything you’d need for a full week of fun!
