「The hotel was nice. Location was good - you can walk into the old town of Grass Valley easily. Breakfast was very good and the dining room nice. There was a manager's hosted happy hour which was a nice touch. The bathrooms do need updating but everything worked fine. Housekeeping staff was very nice.」

Based on other reviews it had recently changed ownership. They need to up their game or the poor reviews will start pouring in.」

However, security-wise, even hours after I had checked in and then left for an event, the door to the adjoining room was left open, the windows were all left unlocked, felt unsafe for someone on the bottom floor, woman traveling alone.
