"What a lovely place, we hired a beautiful Bell tent for 2 nights. It was set up with all the essentials on our arrival. The plot had plenty of space around to set up bbq room and room for kids to play. The site, washrooms and kitchen were like new, very well maintained regularly cleaned. I have a pet allergy so the no pets policy was a great bonus here for me too. We had a great time and will book again. Thank you. "

"We had a wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful, extremely well equipped lodge. As an extended family group with an 11 month baby and a dog it suited us very well and everyone was happy. Runswick bay has a beautiful beach and is quiet and unspoilt which suited us! Yet it was a short drive to hot spots such as Whitby, Sandsend and Robin Hoods Bay. We would love to return in the not too distant future."

"A super property in a beautiful N Yorks coastal village. Very comfortably furnished, with all mod cons. The 4-star rating is because we were advised just before our arrival that there was a problem with both the dishwasher and the oven, though the problems were resolved to our satisfaction. Also, the location of the property itself was not clearly described. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I would thoroughly recommend this for a friends or family break."

"Bathroom could do with a touch of paint as there was a damaged part on the wall. It had been touched up, but not fully. The hotel info on the TLV didn’t work either. However, the desk staff were friendly and really helpful. I would stay here again but a bit more attention to detail would make a big difference."
