“There are not enough superlatives to describe both the property as well and the hospitality and professionalism of our hosts. “The 1784 Denison Home is a beautiful historical property. The home is decorated in period style with a nautical theme. Our family of six was most comfortable. “We usually stay closer to Charlestown RI but booked too late & thankfully found this gem only miles away. The home is immaculate, appointed with the most comfortable beds & generous towels, beach gear (including towels & picnic baskets) & many helpful “in case you forgot” items. “ Beautiful home, safe and lovely walkable neighborhood in a lake community. The home was clean, spacious and well appointed. We used it as a home base for a family wedding at Salem Herb Garden which was 7 minutes away and so convenient. Highly recommend!”

“My family and I came for an 8 day event from a different state and wanted a clean and comfortable place to stay with our at the time 9 month old daughter. And this place did exactly that. “The property is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I stayed here with our three pups and it was perfect. There's a fenced in little area for the dogs with a doggy door inside and a ramp so they could go as they needed to without needing to hook them up to their leashes or carry them to the fenced in area which was a major plus early in the morning while the grass is dewy and at night to avoid the mosquitoes (because there are plenty of those.) “Our group has been coming to the Norwich area every year for the past 5 years, and this by far was the best property we have stayed at. The house is in a wonderfully quiet and cute neighborhood, and Moheghan Sun is only a 5-minute Uber away. “This was a great house for our annual cousins' trip! The first level has all of the bedrooms, living room and kitchen. I will flag that you could hear everything from the bedrooms that was happening in the living rooms so may not be the best fit for light sleepers. Big, beautiful backyard!! ”
